2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
An interesting beer. Hazy golden color, with a white head. Aromas of pine/spruce hops, and some citrus. Tastes of pine/spruce/floral hops, lemon/lime citrus, and some touches of cedar wood. Dry tasting, bittersweet finish. Not bad, just a bit underwhelming. The cedar flavor is neat though.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Shared bottle @RBNAG-11. Clear, deep amber. Low off-white head. Discreet aroma of sweet caramelly malts and light fruity and minty hops. Heavily sweet and light peppery malt flavor. Solid bitterness. Light fruity hop flavor. Oily mouthfeel, bordering on sticky. Over the top sweet ending.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Hmm I’ve never seen this before and from the Virgin Islands what the hell. Best by 8/2012
Pours a medium copper color with a dense white head
that slowly dissipates to a cap and leaves decent lace on the way down. Smells IPA-ish citrus and sweet caramel malts with emphasis on malt. Taste is mostly caramel, butterscotch and bready malt with a smattering of citrus and earthy hops. Medium thin body with a moderate, level of carbonation and a sweet bubbly mouthfeel. Mediocre at best and damn you Shipyard for tricking me into buying another one of your beers.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
0.33l bottle @ RBNAG11. Pours a near-clear copper-orange body with a thin quickly fading bubbly sidesticking head. Aroma is sweet and peachy, lots of tropical fruits and some sweet caramel. OK aroma. Lively carbonation and a fizzing-oily mouthfeel. Flavors are really hoppy, some piny tones. Sharp and accurate. Not really exceptional in any way, but a drinkable and OK tasting IPA.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Big head with staying power. Perfect amber color. Musty and dirty character, the hops assaulting your palate with their earthy, pure plant-based woodiness. Not what I expected from a Caribbean brew. (#4351, 10/24/2011)
