Our IPA is bright copper in color with a wonderful citrusy hop aroma. Island Hoppin has a great malty body that pairs well with the dry hoppy finish. IBUís 50, Warrior, Cascade, Willamette.

Bottle. Backlog from Oct 2012. Poured amber with a creamy tan head that left a thin layer lasting and good lace. Subdue aroma of malt and floral. The flavor found caramel, floral, and grapefruit. Light to medium body and a medium bitterness.

Serving: Draft at the brewpub and in 12 oz. bottles. Itís worth noting that your best bet is to have this at the brewery. I had it there, in bottles at various establishments including their little shop downstairs, and from grocery stores. The quality swings wildly. It pours a nice deep amber color with a small off white head. The nose varies from citrus, pine, and grapefruit on draft to just pine and an off metallic note at times in the bottle. The flavor seems to follow suit. On draft, it has mellow earthy and pineapple hops with a solid malt backbone. A little light on the hops for an IPA, but still decent. In the bottle it can be a faded metallic mess. Medium body with average carbonation all the way around. There you have it. Drink at your own risk.

From the 12 fl. oz. bottle with October 2013 notched off the label. It pours copper or more likely a medium amber color with an off-white head the bursts open wide and settles down at the end. The aroma is of earthy hops but they are not in your face. There is also a kind of butterscotch thing going on. Smooth body that falls into the medium range. The taste is similar to the aroma in that it is not in your face but there is a slight lingering bitterness that has a kind of citrus zing at the finale.
