[500ml Bottle from The Real Ale Shop, Wrentham, Suffolk] All I can say by way of excuse is that an old chap with a beard in the shop insisted I buy this - his reasoning was "you’ve got to have it, it’s blue". I now realise that, despite being the wrong side of the counter, he must have actually been the owner of the shop, looking out for unwary customers (me) onto whom he could offload his most grotesque beers. It pours an unattractive murky blue-green, with a head like used soap suds. It took me several minutes to summon up the courage to taste it. Frankly, it looks like economy toilet cleaner, and smells and tastes more than a little soapy too. It does eventually attain some fruity sweetness, leaving a sickly syrup coating on the inside of your now blue mouth. This is horrible, avoid it.

Bottle. Odd, pours almost a deep flourescent green. Some subtle blueberry characters in the aroma and also the flavour. Smells like blueberry muffins a little bit. Can’t get over the colour! Not much happening on the palate. A little dull, in fact very dull.
