Cask gravity at Pigs Ear BF 07. Probably had more fun working out how to pronounce this than drinking it (decided it was an early spelling of Ipswich). Bit of haze, no head. Citrusy hop aroma. Bit of odd soap. On the verge of being very good. Good hop, pepper.

A Mes rate: Gravicask at Pigs Ear.
Slightly cloudy light amber with an oily film but decent condition all the same. Strong grassy hop aroma. Citric as hell with lots of orange. Very American hoppiness and rather lovely for it. Everything that makes the aroma great is only barely apparent in the flavour. It’s all there just too delicate and not so well balanced. Very enjoyable all the same.

Cask conditioned - gravity dispense - Pigs Ear BF. A slightly hazy orange coloured beer with some US style hopping on the aroma. This hop burst doesn’t quite come through in the taste, which is quite dry and flattish tasting. The hops are there but the beer doesn’t taste as nice as it smells. Still a nice drop.
