Bottled, 330ml from Carrefour, Coquelles, France. Hazy lemon to straw with white head. Initially fairly herby, hints of thyme and basil, this gets overwhelmed a little by a honeyed sweetness giving it a thicker palate than expected. Yeasty sweet finish, it’s quite reasonable though.

Pours a light yellow with a tall frothy white head. Aroma is sweet malt, citrus and yeast. Taste is also sweet malt, citrus and yeast leading to a light bitter finish and some warm alcohol mouth feel. Not bad.

750ml bottle, pale blonde color, with a bubbly white head, light honeyed pale, pilsener malt nose, with a mild stewed apple fruity, yeastiness note, and with a faint candied lemon, grapefruit peel accent in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a mild sweet honeyish, grainy pale, munich malt, soft flowery leafy, grassy hop character, with a hint of honey lollipop, and candied lemon, grapefruit peel undertone, leading towards a honeyish pale maltiness, lingering citrus, leafy hop bitterness finish.
