Magjayran (1379), Durham, North Carolina, USA Apr 15, 2007 Reddish pink beer with a pink head. Sugary raspberry soda aroma. Super sweet flavor reminds me of Raspberry Soho. Comparable to the Lindemans stuff. Good on a hot day. spector (906), Lancaster, Ohio, USA Mar 30, 2007 On tap at Barleys.Lots of raspberry in the aroma.Pours a deep red with a medium pink head.Lots of raspberry with a slight sourness in the flavor.Mouthfeel was very thin with a sour fruit finish. moejuck (1165), Ohio, USA Mar 30, 2007 On tap at Barleys. Gorgeous red color with a very slight head. Full palate for this style. Really sweet raspberry flavor is very tastey, possibly a little too sweet, but still very well done. sliffy (1966), Columbus, Ohio, USA Feb 1, 2007 On tap @ Brew Kettle: Deep reddish purple color with a pink head. Aroma raspberries, and lots of ’em. Flavor, overly sweet raspberry, it’s an alco-pop. I hate these things. tomthompson89 (1459), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jan 25, 2007 red pour, nice pink red head, not really feeling much like a lambic too syrupy but still nice rasberry flavour detroiter (958), Euphoria, Minnesota, USA Jan 14, 2007 Pours a clear ruby red - almost the color of beet juice - with a thin cap of bubbly pink foam. The head dies back immediately. no lacing. Raspberry candy aroma - like those sweet little hard candies at your grandmother’s house.
Full fruity raspberry flavor, with a hint of a lambic funk midway through. It starts out a bit tart, but ends pretty sweet and smooth. Not quite medium bodied, decent sparkly carbonation. beervana (781), Libertyville, Illinois, USA Nov 14, 2006 (07.28.06) 12.7 oz green bottle from DiCarlo’s, Mundelein, IL. Best by 10/2006. Sour raspberry aroma. Poured clear deep red with small off-white head. Soft carbonation. Light-to-medium bodied ale that starts with .light malt sweetness and tangy sour raspberry flavor. Finished the same. No noticeable earthy funkiness. A tasty drinkable Belgium fruit beer. macguy (144), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Oct 10, 2006 Wow. What a nice surprise to find this beer in the local packy. Until now, the only other lambic option was Lindeman’s which is way sweeter. This beer is not quite as sour as I like but the best that my geo has to offer in the Lambic department these days. It pours a dark red, with a pink head, some nice lacing. The nose is classic lambic musty with raspberry overtones. The initial taste is sour/slightly sweet raspberry with an citric acid finish. I really like this beer and am so happy to have it in town. I hope it sticks around.
