The flavor is sweet with a slight acidic touch, and lots of raspberries. Too sweet for me to really enjoy it. shrubber85 (2886), Wallhalben, Germany
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 23, 2006 Bottle. Strong sweet raspberry aroma with light musty barnyard as well. Dark cherry red color with small head. Strong sweet-tart raspberry flavor - mild lambic mustiness. A sweet ’lambic’ - not traditional - very similar to Lindemans. Mangino (1027), Mississippi, USA

Dark red color, small white head. Aroma is raspberries and cream eaten while sitting ontop of a smelly horse. Flavor is mostly sweet raspberry juice, smooth boddy slightly bretty finish. Like Raspberry cool-aid. eaglefan538 (2360), Wilmington, Delaware, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 12, 2006 Poured a deep burgundy color with a thin head that provided very nice lacing. Aroma was of rubber and raspberries, as was the flavor. This was very comparable in my opinion to the NG Raspberry Tart. But, why such a differential between this and that? Perhaps because this claims to be a lambic and not a fruit beer (it was a phony sweetened lambic for sure and way overpriced for that matter). Yes, it didn’t taste like beer, but neither did the Raspberry Tart on both of my tastings of it. bhensonb (4248), Woodland, California, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Apr 23, 2006 Raspberries, and I’m not relating to Thoroughly Modern Millie. In the aroma, in the flavor, and the early finish seems the same as eating fresh raspberries, perhaps even a hint of seed. The sweet is nearly balanced by the tart. The new label is a bit sad, lacks the character of the old. Final finish hints of a sour lambic characeristic. hair-old (137), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 11, 2006 Draft... Clear, ruby ale with a small, creamy, pink tinted head. Fruity aroma... lemon and raspberry. The flavor is all about sweet, tart and tangy raspberries. Medium-bodied and lightly oily with lively carbonation. Finishes fruity and tangy. Fun! Not ingenious nor complex. Just fun! BeerLimey (1873), California, USA
