4 oz. sample. The pour produces a clear, visibly viscous deep ruby colour with a thin, wispy white head that fades to a ring. The nose is extremely artificial smelling, coming off more like freshly opened Swedish Fish rather than actual raspberries. The flavour is exactly the same, with only the slightest suggestion of grassy, herbal hops. Decent medium carbonation and syrupy palate. Oddly, it is enjoyable because of its ridiculously sweet flavour and ever-so-slight funk.

Bottle pours a burnt ruby color with a creamy light pink head. The initial aroma explodes full of raspberries with background notes of cookie dough and a slight amount of funk. The taste is slightly more artificial than the nose let on, showing raspberry preserves. Maybe even spread on a biscuit?? The overall body is relatively light with non abrasive carbonation. The mid-palate is somewhat tart, but definately needed to help balance the crisp, sweet finish. Somewhat cloying in my honest opinion.

Tap @ Rattle n Hum. Pour is foggy ruby. Taste is like a raspberry explosion, slight funk and apples in the background. Extremely juicey and vivid... almost captures the fruity essence in a way I have only seen Selins Grove do 3.95

On Tap at Rattle N Hum. Pours a dark ruby red body with no head. The aroma is raspberry and cherry. The flavor is the same - very delicious and freshing.

375 ml bottle poured a clear dusty ruby with a small diminishing pink head. Aromas of raspberry, light cookie, light honey and a hint of funk. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a lightly tart finish. Flavors of raspberry, cookie and a hint of funk with a crisp lightly tart lingering raspberry finish.

Draft at the Abbey. Great clear red pour with large pink head. Crazy sweet raspberry aroma and flavor. Like fake candied raspberry flavoring. Ridiculously sweet, but very good in place of a desert wine. I’d take this over Lindeman’s.
