LinusStick (1830), Moon Twp, suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Jan 18, 2009 A delicious if not a little girly lambic. Aroma was nice. Fresh ripe raspberries with a strong mustiness to it. Pour was a beautiful murky deep dark red with a thin pink ring for a head. Taste was a very sweet and sugary...like a sparkling wine. Strong raspberry with just a slight sourness in the aftertaste. There is a little funk and a hint of barnyard floor but the sweet raspberries won’t let the flavors come through. Damn good and refreshing, though. ditmier (1019), Boise, Idaho, USA Jan 10, 2009 Draught @ TFD - Pours a redish amber witha medium pink head...aroma is full of red berries and bubbles...flavour is ultra ripe rasberry and malt, but starts and ends with a great sour note...fun... ChainGangGuy (2522), Kennesaw, Georgia, USA Jan 9, 2009 They don’t put "Premium" on something unless it’s totally awesome, right?
Appearance: Pours a clear, ruby-hued body with a thin, fine ring of off-white bubbles.
Smell: Raspberries, raspberries everywhere, but not a drop to drink.
Taste: Juicy, faintly tart raspberries swarm the palate with a fair amount of sweetness (could be considered downright dry when compared with anything off the Lindemans line-up). There’s just a little bit of acidity and just a little bit of sourness in the otherwise sweet finish. Hmm, well I guess that’s it.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: In Lambic World, it’s somewhere between the grace and finesse of Cantillon and the liquefied lollipops of Lindemans, and, though not overly complex or a world-class fruit lambic, it was still reasonably enjoyable for the one lone bottle. WeeHeavySD (2940), San Diego (Hillcrest), California, USA Dec 22, 2008 Tap at RFD. Pours pinkish pink head nose is sweet and taste is razzy and sweet, not quite as tart as id like but not horid either. CaryTheDude (1113), Longmont, Colorado, USA Dec 7, 2008 Crushed with Jakebra. Blown away both by the brew and the low rating. Yum. Comparable to New Glarus Raspberry Tart. Just awesomely delicious. Raspberries rarely taste this awesome. Snojerk321 (1914), San Diego, California, USA Nov 18, 2008 Tap @ Hamilton’s. Clear reddish body. Aroma is fruity with notes of raspberry, strawberry and cherry. Flavor is the same, finishes sweet. I liked this, surprised to see it rated so low..
