Bottle 0.25 L. Very delicious and funny raspberry lambic. Dark ruby colour and solid foamy pink head. Refreshingly fruity and sour aroma/palate.

Amber, small white head. Aroma of yeast funk and raspberries. Flavor is tangy and sweet and filled with wild yeast funkiness. Not bad.

375 ml bottle. Nearly opaque red-brown with a lasting raspberry cream head. Big aroma of fresh raspberries and ozone. Flavor is the same with some light tartness. Medium body is a little sticky and tingly with carbonation. Beautiful lacing left all over the glass. Sweet and delicious fruit dessert.

Serving: Draft. Appearance: Hazy red with a foamy, pink head. Decent head retention and good lacing left behind. Aroma: All raspberries and nothing but raspberries. Taste: Like raspberry syrup. Overly sweet and a touch of tartness. Palate: High carbonation with a medium light, cloyingly sweet mouthfeel. Medium short, syrupy raspberry finish. Overall: I think this one is just too sweet. A little less sweetness combined with sharper carbonation and more tartness would help things dramatically. I would skip this one unless you want something for dessert.

Bottle from Cindirene’s. Pours turbid ruby mahogany color with off-pink head. Nose was fresh raspberries, slightly Jolly Ranchery, earthy, very much like the Lindeman’s framboise nose. The taste was on the sweet side, fairly authentic raspberry flavor, with some earthy tartness as it warmed, and stays very sweet. Not bad.

Dan’s Bachelor Party Extended Weekend Rating #60 of 90. On tap at HopCat in Grand Rapids. Pours dark cherry. Has sweet cherry, slight sour bite, decent carbonation, fruit forward and relatively tasting for 1:55AM, damn last call at 2am...wtf.

Bottle. Pours dark red, clear, and with a fast-dissipating head. Aroma of sweet cherries and strawberry. Flavor is predictably sweet, with scarcely a trace of lambic tartness. Palate remains medium-thin, lightly carbonated and simple. As a soft drink, this would do well, but as a fruit “lambic,” this is watered down, over-sweetened, and lacking much of any depth.
