On draft, pours a red color with light pink foam, aromas of overly sweet raspberries. Flavor is just that with raspberry syrup added to it.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 DavoleBomb (965) - Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 5, 2011
Poured into a tulip. Bottled on 100526, so May 26th, 2010 I presume.
4.0 A: Plum color. Three fingers of frothy pink head. Retention is good with plenty of lacing left behind.
3.5 S: Immense raspberry aroma, but it is too sweet to come off as natural. Rather, the raspberry takes on a synthetic, artificial vibe like in the liquid centered hard candies. Far below that there is a mild mustiness and a very subtle tartness. Still, it smells good.
4.0 T: Like the peche, the taste is about as sweet as it gets without getting cloying/annoying. Again, raspberry liquid filled hard candy with watermelon flavored lollipops. Mild mustiness. Very, very light tartness.
4.5 M: Lighter body. Good amounts of super spritzy carbonation. Incredibly smooth.
4.0 D: I have a reduced respect for backsweetened fruit lambics, but I think they are generally really tasty. They remind me of sparkling grape juice that I loved drinking during Thanksgiving as a kid (still love it). Anyway, this hits the head as a raspberry soda type drink with a touch of real lambic character. Infinitely quaffable.
Disclaimer: I rate backsweetened lambics to the style of sparkling fruit juice, not actual lambics.

On tap at Hopcat, pours a clear light red with a soapy pink head, the aroma was light with raspberry, the flavor has a nice tart front end with a finish of raspberry, pretty straight forward Lambic, not bad.
