Amber, small white head. Aroma of yeast funk and raspberries. Flavor is tangy and sweet and filled with wild yeast funkiness. Not bad.

unmarked ’80s vintage@ BBF ’15 Vintage Tasting ZO, merci. Dissolved in appearance, what survived is mostly on-style: vinegar sharp, woody notes, fruity balsamico and liquified Haribo winegum sloshing around in this stale puddle of a beer corpse. Would still make a decent raspberry salat dressing.

8/II/15 - 37.5cl bottle @ Vintage Tasting Brugs Bierfestival - BB: n/a, pre-87 vintage (2015-165)

Clear dark copper to brown beer, small irregular beige head, unstable. Aroma: very sweet, raspberry candy, bit oxidized, port notes, some cardboard. MF: no carbon, medium to light body. Taste: little sourish, surprisingly fruity, raspberry notes, cardboard, oxidized, bit metallic, sweet. Aftertaste: some raspberries, sourish, bit of cardboard, dusty.

*Old rating, best before 05.2006. Süßlich-klebriges, himbeer-aromatisches Bier. Kaum Säure vorhanden, zu viel süßer Sirup. Viel zu künstlich. Eher ein Radler als ein Fruit-Lambic.

Bottle raspberries in aroma. Sweet raspberries syrup in taste. Sweet fruity finish. Not too much Lambic in it, but as Fruit beer OK.

I really am a sucker for the sweetened lambics. They taste like candy and I really don’t care that they don’t taste traditional. They are delicious and this one tastes like sweet and sour raspberry. This one is about as good as the Lindemans framboise and slightly better than the Cherish one.

August 10, 2014. Bottle, best before september 2015. Pours clear dark red with a small, quickly dissipating, pinkish head. Aroma is tart and sweet raspberries, slightly artificial. Taste is medium sweet with a light to medium tart fruity finish. Light/medium bodied.

Very well balanced and good all around. Pours ruby red with good pink head and lacing. Light notes of lambic bretta with a good dose of raspberry. Well blended, and sweetness tempered well with bretta. Tap at RFD.

This is fantastic. Pours a deep ruby red. Aromas Are big strawberry and raspberry jam. Awesome. Flavors are raspberry jam. Pureed raspberries and strawberry everything. I thought this was great.

On tap at the Mayor of Oldtown. Appearance: finger of red head that does not persist, blood red color, clear, no real lacing. Aroma: raspberry, light yeastiness. Palate: light body, sparkling carbonation and texture. Taste: cloying sweetness after a while, but starts off slightly tart with heavy sweetness. Overall, the sweetness of this one got to me more than other lambics, a little too cloying for me.
