Golden clear with light white lasting head. Lemon sour scents. Clean crisp but nice tart green grape sour apple taste. light sour left over after the sip.

Bottle. Aroma is a bit skunky, quite strange. Potatoes! Taste is bit vinous, not so sour, not so interesting, light cheesiness. More grainy than i would expect. Not wildly exciting, but alright.

The nose reminds me of a must room after a long day of hiking and people are hanging up their wet clothes. Funky stuff. A bit fruity too with some stewed apples. Sour apples with some stewed onions. Interesting nose, but the mouth falls off a bit. Moderately sour finish. Decent.

It tastes like a gueuze, yes, but like a very watered down and family friendly gueuze. Lacks the agressive sourness and tardiness.

Bottle: Just outside of two years old. Murky, burnt amber & orange body approaching 100% opacity with a fuzzy white head that lasts with moderate lacing. Sour Lemonhead aroma with sharp, acidic citrus notes & a strong lactobacillus presence. Tart on the nostrils with underlying notes of damp & musty cellar floors. Finishes with some wet hay & stone fruits. Taste has a puckering sourness up front, perhaps even more than I was expecting. Acidic lemon, tart stone fruits, & even a little cherry skin. Lacto sourness to the max, approaching that yogurt-y profile but not quite there. This picks up a strong woody presence with time & warmth; lots of oak in the back-end with timid barnyard funk in the finish. Apple cider vinegar left resonating on the palate. A delicious gueuze that is even better with a couple years on it. Not the funkiest or most complex, but sure to please the sourheads of beerdom.

Hazy copper. White head. Sweet sour aroma. Very dry palate ending in a plank. Tastes like soured raspberry. Real awesome flavor. A bit rough of a finish.

Bottle 75 cl. Pours a hazy golden with a medium fading white head and an aroma with some sourness, apple, citrus, barnyard, funk and slight toffee-scent. The taste is a bit sour, but for more sweet than one would expect from a gueuze. The finish is also not as dry as I would expect from a gueuze. Not really good for the style, but still a very drinkable beer and a lot better than most of the stuff they sell in my local supermarkets and bars.

A gueuze lambic for the beginners, you don’t want so much sugar in a true lambic, some tartness, some cereals. Not good
