A lot of bubblegum flavors in this one. Lemon acidity. Not the best for the style.

This one was just OK. A bit of a let down, but still better than a lot of beers.

Bottle thanks to pussypete. Aroma is funky and sour. Flavor is sour, balanced but kind of boring. Decent

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
A little disappointed here. Smell was sharp and sour and appeared to be in line with the style. The color was a golden with a little amber thrown in and a white head. The palate was light with a good amount of carbonation and a sour finish. The flavor was funky and not in a Brett kind of way. It was sour and grainy. The finish reminded me of wasabi, which didn’t work. It had promise but kind of failed on the end.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
From 10/10 notes. Bottle from July 2012, little over a year on it. Pours hazy orange with 1 finger head. Nose is tart funk, apple, barnyard, citrus. Mouthfeel is crisp, sharp, carbonated. Taste is tart apple, oak, funk, hay, wood. Finish is medium sourness, pineapple, woody. Really nice gueuze, year in the bottle helped.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
2009 bottle tasted October 2013.
Pours into a tulip glass a hazy amber with a quickly dissipating white head. Strong lactic/sour nose with hints of barnyard but nothing too complicated happening in the aroma. Rather sweet (or sweet-tart) flavors, lemon juice with sugar added dripped over corkboard. Green apricot. Some burn in the back of the throat, presumably from the acidity rather than the alcohol. Entirely drinkable, just not particularly special in any way.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
One of thee sourest beers I’ve ever had, but it was something that could definitely be enjoyed in small doses. I’m slowly coming around to the style.

Pours a slightly unclear golden beer with a good white head. Smells sour, bit glue. Medium sour taste with a sweet finish. Bit champagne like. Average carbo, thin body and a watery texture.

Bottle to glass. Clear amber color with a small off white head. Aroma is acetic acid and light fruit notes. Flavor is quite sour, with strong acetic acid character. Light to medium in body with a lingering sourness. Pretty tasty.
