375 ml bottle from the LCBO. Pours a clear deep golden colour lots of carbonation and a thin white head and doesn’t last too long. Nose is layers of tart citrus, wine vinegar, sweet cherry, flowers, funkiness. Taste is dominated by the dry sour finish. I get lemons, cherries, wine, champagne. My first gueuze and I liked it.

Draft at Brouwer’s. Juicy, hazy orange brown, good cream head. Sweet fruity aroma, good mild funk. Sweet mild sip, juicy tart finish. Red fruit, bitter yeast. Nice!

Decent head and foggy gold body. Good sweet aroma of funk and hay, sharp yeast notes. Flavour is soft yeast sharpness and a dry finish. While a fine gueuze there are better ones out there, though this works well as a sessionable one if you can find a few dozen outside-a Belgium to actually do a session with.

Butelka. Kolor prawie krystalicznie pomarańczowy, ładna biała piana. Aromat mało intensywny, ale czuć że to gueuze. Trochę funku i agrestu, nutka cytryny. To w zasadzie wszystko. Smak kwaśny, lekki do średniej, bardzo wytrawny i lekko cierpki. W smaku witamina C. Nawet posmak ma jak witamina C. Ciało niskie, faktura wodnista. Niby niesłodzony lambik, ale jednak slaby.

Poured from a 375 ml bottle with no date that I can see, but its the new label. Aroma is decent with some nice oak notes as well as an herbal quality. Some lemon citrus notes and hints of other fruits. A light floral note compliments the herbal character. Light earthiness. Pours a fairly clear, copper orange with a medium sized, thin white head that recedes quickly to a thin film that lingers for quite some time. No lacing or legs. Flavor is not as nice as the aroma. Moderate acidity with some sweetness that balances it out and lingers a bit. Light oak and herbal notes. Some citrus with stone fruit and tropical fruit as well. A bit of an odd, astringent, metallic note to it. Some medium light bitterness with a bit of a floral character. A slight chemical note. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium high carbonation. Medium astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, if this were an American sour I would be decently stoked on it, but for a Gueuze it just doesn’t match up. The flavor is too sweet with a weird chemical note, not enough funk and too much fruit and floral esters.

Bottle. Slight hazy amber with small white head. Aroma: sulphur, raw apples, like dry cider, mold in the cellar, weak wine vinegar. Taste is medium sour, some sweetness, berries, apples. Medium body. Sour finish.

5% ABV according to bottle. Hazy orange/brown color, average sized white head with low retention. Aroma of apples, pears, sourness, wine, yeast. Taste of apples, vinegar, sourness, some fruitiness, citrus. Medium body, average carbonation. High level of sourness makes it kinda hard to drink, but it’s still moderately enjoyable. Apparently, this is not my style.

Bottle 0,375l from Beer Club Shop in Rijeka, 5%abv. Hazy pale amber color, average off white head. Acidic smell, wine, vinegar, some sour fruits, berries. Very sour taste, hint of wine, fruits. Could be used like salad dressing. Light to medium body, medium carbonation. Tart finish.

Well done for the style. Pours sort of a yellowish copper, clear with a hint of sediment at the bottom. Fizzy head. Very hard on the pears initially but in came some funky barnyard and very tart banana/apple. Very big on taste and dry in the finish.
