The aroma has a great deal of yeast, along with some apple, and a vegetable-like scent. I taste more of the yeast in sipping. The beer is definitely sour, perhaps more than the other beers Iíve tried. The palate is invigorating, with an average-strength body. As my first gueuze that Iíve tried, this is a complex and interesting beer, yet I donít know if Iím ready to drink gueuzes regularly.

Citruses, gentle wood, acidity, gentle barnyard.amber, clear, minimal head, white foam. Quite lovely.lightly sour, some citruses, barnyard (gentle), woody. light body, slick feel, lively, long smooth finish. Quite nice, could use some extra depth, very refreshing and well balanced though.

Pours a clear golden amber color with a thin ring of white foam. Classic gueuze aromas of barnyard funk, sour pineapple, varnished wood, a hint of biscuity sweetness. Flavors were much of the same, loads of tart juicy sourness. Pineapple, funky wood, acetic acid. Super complex, but very refreshing and easy to drink. Well balanced with no bitterness and no sweetness. Bone dry finish. Mouthwatering!

Light golden brown with a small beige head. Sour and sweet on the nose, almost a bit sherry like. Lovely and tart to taste with a touch of toffee on the finish. Very refreshing.

Licht amberkleurig bier met weinig fijn wit schuim. Geur: zurig. Smaak: mooi zuur, niet erg complex bier. redelijke koolzuurprikkel en weinig volmondig. Afdronk: het zurige blijft dominant.

My first gueuze, it tastes a little like aspirin or some other drugs, but very interesting taste.

Bottle. Pours a thin, white, quick dissipating head on top of a light body, of reddish orange body, a bit hazy as well, high carbonation. Aroma of sour apples and white vinegar. Taste is the same, with a light tartness that does not linger. Itís almost like a sour cider. Not a good gueuze.

Bottle from Bruisin' Ales. Pours golden with a thin white head. Doesn't leave much lacing. Nice oak notes on the nose. Tart on the tongue with solid wood notes. Finished clean. Solid example of style. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From a 375ml bottle, pours a amber color with a thin off white head. Aroma of sour apples and straw. Flavors of malts, apples, hints of peaches and straw. Body of champagne, with a light sour and dry finish. Very tasty, pleasant and refreshing.
