Bottle at a tourist trap on grand place, Brussels. Very sweet, more faro than gueuze, to give a positive remark.

Very dark orange. nice clarity. 1 finger head of big bubbles and sticks around fading slowly. has a slight apple, pear and copper penny aroma. Lots of sugar, actually a nice mouthfeel, a bit of apple, some tartness but overall just not a great beer.

bottle a while ago, backlog rating, deeper coloured yellow pour with a small white head, unriped fruits, hay, "sweet"yeast taste, chemical sourness, candy sugar, artificial taste, metallic notes, this was so bad that i even didn’t rate it back than

Bottle @ Home. Pours golden with a small white head, light lacings. Aroma of very light sourness, some ripe red apples, sweet fruity, strawberries, sweets, bubblegum. Flavor is way to sweet, candy, sweets, weak fruity, apples. Medium body, soft carbonation, light sweet finish. 170415

czar (5723) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - APR 11, 2015
pours clear golden with a small white cap, not quite reviving or leaving any lacing. brown sugar, candi and apple purée sweetness; herbal-grassy blandness, shy lambic notes, fruitiness - orchard overripened fruits, cardboard, very light acidity - linear, some woodsiness. light carbonation - lacking, light body - oily and fairly thick for its less than 5% abv; semi-sweet, very lightly astringent, barely tart and bland herbal finish. not a cloying offering like other sweetned st. louis fruit lambics. still drinkable.

Deuxième fois que je goûte à cette bière... La première fois je n’avais pas critiquée mais je me rappelle avoir détestée. Je me rappelle pourquoi maintenant!

Bottled in 2012 shared with friends. This a Golden in color with a nice head leaving lacing on the glass. Very sour sour in a goodway like a spur patch kid or botong into a slice of lemon

375ml bottle from LCBO, Shops at Don Mills, Toronto, ON. 4,5 alc./vol. Pours a clear gold colour with one finger of lasting white head. Leaves a nice lacing. Aroma of hops and notes of apples. Taste matches the aroma. Apple is pronounced and not as sour as the usual belgian lambic. Not bad but nothing spectacular. It’s a but too sugary for a lambic.

Pours a clear strong golden with a small white head that leaves good lacing. Nose is of sugar and faint sour fruits. Reminds me of a faro, really. Taste is indeed sweet with a slight tart edge, a far cry from the real deal. Flavors of honey drizzled pears and candi sugar. No funk, no barnyard, no nothing. I’d drink Girardin White Label many times over this. Body is medium, carbonation light and mouthfeel oily. Meh.

It pours amber with golden highlights; the head is off-white and foamy. The aroma has notes of: barnyard funk, lemon juice, white wine, and Sweet malts. The taste is medium - light sweet that finishes light sour; there are notes of: lemon juice, candy sugar, cereal grains, and a slight horse blanket. The palate is medium - light bodied, medium carbonation; it has a medium finish. Overall, it’s a weak example of the style but very drinkable - not bad.
