Geiserich (3596) - Linz, AUSTRIA - AUG 22, 2014
Bottle: Dark golden color, white head. Aroma of apples, cider, vinegar, hops. Flavor is sweet and sour, intensive notes of cider, green apples, candy, hops. Quite sweet Gueuze, more like a faro but because of that more drinkability.

Ik drink normaal graag geuze, maar dit was toch een van de mindere dat ik al geprobeerd heb

RhetoricalAns (511) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 25, 2014
Bottle, semi hazy golden amber with small beige head. Caramel aroma. Taste is fairly sweet, no really funky or earthy flavours that I was expecting. Overall okay but not great.

vipinvelp (2632) - Velp, NETHERLANDS - JUL 22, 2014
Somewhat hazy orange with off-white foam head. Sourish aroma, always like green apples to me. Taste as usual is getting used to, sour initially, turning less in time. Like these beers. (Velp 201407)

Bygers (925) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUL 17, 2014
Bottle 0,25l. Pours a pale blond/golden colour with low beige head. Aroma is of sugar and slight lambic. Taste is of slight wild yeast/barnyard, fruits, hard water, heavy sugar. Too sweet. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

jookos (3162) - FINLAND - JUL 5, 2014
Bottle. Orange, light hazy. Oxidized hops, some cheezyness, pale malty. Lightish body. Fruity, some sweetness. Some cola there, makes me think of faro. Strange one, but drinkable.

35,5cl bottle. Summer Santa 2014, thanks Beerhunter111!. Hazy golden, thin white head. Barnyard, old cheese, apple and sweetness in aroma. Flavor has ripe apples, sweetness, some metal notes even. Sweet and sticky. Quite bad.

Bottle @ barely Legal Tasting Room Pours amber-ish, with a small white head . Smel is sweet - More Faro than geuze Taste is sweet, sugary , with a hint of lambic . i’d call this a Faro any day, upon tasting blindly . And I like Faro’s . of course, as a Geuze/sour fan this sucks ass , but tastewise ? I’ll never say no to drinking something like this . I just do not understand why they call it a geuze ...
Earlier Rating: 3/19/2013 Total Score: 3.6
bottle from the shity bottleshop behind the corner... pours unlike a geuze! how do i mean? carbonation already gives sugar away ( or is that just some weird idea in my had? ) soapy foam, very light orange colour, and the carbonation rising up? thats just like a lager or something... so yeah.. usualy i see only colours and wether the foam is big or not. this is the first time i actualy SEE - this is NOT gonna be a good geuze :p ( or its imaginary , perhaps ) foam is already gone by typing till here.. leaving a thin layer of white at the top smells like a faro . a faro is one of my favourite beer styles, but this is a geuze? WTF ? tastes sugary, again, i would believe this is a faro, by the taste, but the label clearly states st louis premium geuze lambic ( i did not do this as a new entry, since the word premium above it could as well be a diffrent labeling , i figured ) so yeah, a bad faro, ( but not the badest one ) to me. do i enjoy it? for this price -> yeah. but why call this geuze? thats like calling budweiser an imperial stout.. WHY ????
