Pours a clear amber with loads of lingering head. The head really dampens the smell, which just comes across as biscuity malts. Remarkably light and fruity. Rather like champagne - it’s even got grape in there I think. Puckering sourness on the finish. Some bland biscuity grains sneak in every once in a while.

tap at Capone’s. Pours a clear amber with a white head. Nose is of sour tart candy. Taste is the same tart candy. Mouthfeel is nicely sour, but not overly so.

375ml bottle. Pours pale copper in colour, with small, fine head. Aroma is sour, with a hint of banana. Taste is sweet and also a hint of banana here. Interesting.

Draft at Capone’s. Pours a hazy gold. Aroma is great standard geueze funky tart. Mouthfeel is slightly sour but then takes a turn for the worst. Terrible aftertaste of shit.

This one was rather sour, no head, no carbonation, old school gueuze that seemed like it was brewed in the garage next door. Not for beginners, in fact the sour taste would work well with some food but not at a bar. I think there are better gueuze’s out there which will interest beer geeks, though this one does seem to adhere to the "traditional" methods, if you include a lack of care and attention as being "traditional"!

Bottle. Pours a clear amber beer with a large offwhite head. The aroma is weak with some malt. The flavor is weak with some acidity. The palate is dry. Overall a very weak beer.
