2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 cfrancis (1223) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - APR 2, 2010
Pours clear straw yellow with a thin white head. Aroma is faint floral and citrus. Taste is thin on body, slight citrus and acidic. Fairly carbonated. Pretty disappointed in this.
3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 mannika (140) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - APR 2, 2010
Pours a clear, light amber with moderate white foamy head. Aroma is a bit skunky at first, then yields to sweet hops. Taste is a bit metallic with a lingering sweetness. Lively on the palate. Overall would be refreshing if you’re out on the patio having a drink - wouldn’t recommend as an evening or session beer though.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Lady_Bastet (113) - Burlington, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 18, 2010
Golden amber colour with a strong aroma of banana and caramel. Pours with a smallish head and clear with light carbonation. Medium sweetness but with sour notes as well... smooth finish. Overall it was very light and fruity. I wouldn’t drink it again but was good to try.
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 mabel (4129) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 13, 2010
[2684-20100107] 375mL bottle. Fruity spiced apple-like aroma. Slightly hazy, orange amber body with a medium-lasting foamy white head. More spiced apple initially then flavour follows through with watery toast. Light-medium body has a hint of sour. Does not really remind me of a gueuze.

Draft at Capone’s. Similar to Cantillon but not as good. Hazy yellow, with thin head. Flavor is sour but overall very tart, hints of citrus. Dry finish

The Geuze. On tap at Capones. One word: tarty. Has an aroma of vinegar, malt, and citrus. Slight sour, but again the tartiness dominates. Pours an amber orange clear color with a small head. Had a sampler, would not likely enjoy a full glass.
3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 Damico (1222) - Royersford, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 27, 2010
The funky, sour aroma is smooth through the nose. The deep golden color pours with a small head. It is a clear sour flavor which stays smooth throughout the palate.
