Ungstrup (10417), Frederiksberg, Denmark Feb 1, 2004 The aroma is sour, like the aroma of a gueze should be. The color is nutbrown and it has a beige head. The flavor is very sweet with notes of caramel and hints of metal and sourness. This is definatly too sweet and too little sour for a queze. omhper (9704), Stockholm, Sweden Feb 25, 2002 Amber coloured. Sweet and aromatic. Too sweet to br really good.
Papsoe (9242), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 14, 2005 Updated: Jan 8, 2006(Bottle 25 cl) Beautiful amber coloured with a rather fizzy head. Thin body but beautiful sweet and sour flavours. A commercial and sweetened gueuze but very pleasant indeed. And a good way to start if you’re not familiar to the style. 290893 Oakes (6529), Miami Beach, Canada Dec 15, 2000 Rather sweet and uninteresting. argo0 (5860), Washington DC, USA Aug 23, 2005 (RBESG05, bottle, best by 2/04) Hazy brown body topped by a beige head. Aroma is medium sweet, lemon, caramel. Taste is moderately sweet, lemon, caramel. Light-medium body. How can it be so sweet?! Bleah!
