Sample at Aarhus beerfestival. Medium head with medium duration. Color is light amber. Aroma and taste are sweet and sour with the typical lactose acid.

Bottled @ DBF2004: Light golden. No head. Vineagre and tart aroma. Way too sour for me in the flavour. It gets too dominant, when its not properly balanced by some sweetness. Not my kind of gueuze.

Bottle. From Ølmanden. Frothy white fair mostly deminishing head. Orange yellow not nice colour. Light malty and not very sour flavor. Moderate swet and almost no sour-notes. Average finish. Oily palate. More like a Faro than geuuze

(bottle) Amber coloured with a small and slightly beige frothy head. Dusty sweet and sour citrus aroma. Sugary sweet initial taste with notes of apples and oranges. Light bodied, crispy mouthfeel; slightly tart and woody sweetbitter finish. Mediocre Gueuze.

Tap in Antwerp at: Le restaurant Noorderterras on the harbor. Light amber color with a frothy beige head. Light sour fruit aroma. Tart, lightly sweat sox, lightly fruity. Medium body with mildly prickly carbonation. Finishes rather dry. Quite pleasant.

A Mes rate: Draught at Lowlander.
Mid brown with a slim white head. Pleasant enough aroma. A nice light sourness, reasonable hoppy notes and a faro like candy sugar sweetness. Flavour is all big tangy sugar and very artificial. Sweet bready finish that is surprisingly dry considering. At best, a tolerable commercial gooz.

pale amber colour, big head, rhubarb, orange and candy sugar aroma, sweetish and quite flat with only few sourness to deal with, slightly disgusting

375 ml bottle, 11/2003. Deep-orange tan colour, persistent tan head. Nice leathery, horseblankety aroma, sweet faint lactic aroma. Flavour is quite thin and dusty, faint leather. Needs a lot more flavour though to match the aroma. Thin, light sugary finish. Aroma also has a bit of cherry and some cedar in the finish as well.
