Draught at Capone’s: Aroma of tart fruit, light funk, citrus, light hops, and acetic acid. Poured amber/orange in color with a medium-sized, dense, off-white head that lasted throughout. Clear. Sparkling. Small lacing. Medium tart flavor. Tastes of tart fruit, funk, and light citrus. Medium body. Tingly texture. Average to lively carbonation. Sour funk finish.

Amber color, sour aroma but sweet taste. Very easy drinkable, so gueuzefans wont like it :-)
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 tiggmtl (4467) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 13, 2005
Green apples are lightly tart and contrast with citrus and wheat aromas and a mild lambic character. Clear deep copper coloured body is topped by a decent, fine bubbled white head that recedes to a thin but lasting cover with plenty of lacing. Candylike sweetness undercuts the tart green apple flavour with a mildly musty herbal finish. Some notes of pears and peaches are apparent especially in the aftertaste. Light body with strong, sharp, pointy carbonation that prickles the tongue. Snifter. Just above fridge temperature. Bottle (Bièropholie, Nov-05).
2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 muzzlehatch (4425) - Burlington, Vermont, USA - JUN 16, 2004
375 ml bottle, corked/caged, 1995...cork dark and brittle. Color odd for style: dark bronze, very clear, no head to speak of. Nose vinous and caramel-laden, bit of vinegar...again, nothing like what I expect in a gueuze, though it’s interesting and powerful. On the tongue, grapy and sweet to begin with, some slight sourness and currant notes towards the end, virtually no carbonation, soft and a bit syrupy. A bit leathery and woody also...not really gueuze, closer I’d say to a well-aged Old Ale, but lacking the complexity of the better examples of that style. Interesting for sure, but not really good.
2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 blankboy (4287) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 5, 2005
Bottle. Pours a clear amber with a large white head. The aroma is sweet and sour with some green apples, citrus and wine. The aroma is the best part of this beer in my opinion. The flavour follows the aroma but is not well balanced at all, it’s way too sweet. It gets even sweeter as it warms slightly making it borderline unpleasant. Not a beer I’ll have again.
2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 DuffMan (4242) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - JUL 6, 2010
Bottle. How is this not considered a faro geuze? It says right on the label that suar is added, as well as "other sweeteners". Clear bronze with a medium bubbly white head, aromas of green apples, faint vinegar. Palate is quite sweet with faintly funky undertones and a papery finish. Quite thin. Again, how is this not a faro?
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 larsniclas (4227) - Billdal, SWEDEN - AUG 30, 2003
Way too sweet to be pleasant.
Dark golden, vinegar-aroma.
But the sweetness kills a lot of the flavour.
