Bottled, BB 03-2008, sampled 01-2009 (about 3 years old). Courtesy of my mom. Hazy golden/orange coloured, fair head. Nice nose, some tartness, bret, quite ok. Very sweet flavour though, very syrupy. If they would stop sweetening it, this stuff might actually be ok.

Head is initially large, frothy, off-white, mostly lasting. Body is hazy medium amber, moderate density of small and medium sized particles. Aroma is moderately yeasty (cobwebs), lightly hoppy (flowers), lightly malty (toasted light bread), with notes of straw and honey. Flavor is moderately sweet, moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately acidic, moderately bitter. Medium body, creamy texture, lively carbonation, lightly astringent. A little too sweet, and the aroma isn’t especially gueuze-like. The assertive bitterness in the flavor profile is a bit odd for the style but it’s not something I dislike.

Huge, very dense dirty-yellow head over copper-coloured beer, very well-carbonated visibly. Caramel(syrup), wood, Brett (horseblanket even), fruity esters (peach). Neutral, rather than sweet (or sour, God forbid); woody, plywood, slightly solvent, old hops (slightly cheesy). Brett gone to the ... - there’s some lemon flavour, unsure of itself. Syrupy maltiness, caramel underneath. Very spritzy, highly carbonated; sticky, syrupy presence, false body. An old acquaintance, still as unconvincing as ever.

Golden and clear body with mid sized head. Aroma is yeasty and barny with some floral perfume. Somewhat grapefruit sour with an artifical sweetness as it moves in the mounth. Sticky finish with medium carbonation.

Bottle at Københavnske Øldage 2009. Cloudy golden coloured with a medium sized white head. Sweet aroma of fruits and barnyard with notes of caramel. Sweet and fruity flavour with notes of barnyard. Sweet finish.

The sour fruitinees of this type of gueuze just isn’t for me. A sweet aroma, poured a almost bubbly, Maybe one but definitly not two; ok if I was stranded on a desrted island.

Bottle: Poured a amber color with white head. Aroma has a sourness to it. Taste is sweet to sour hard to describe overall flavor. Mouth remains dry and tingly.

50cl bottle@carlsenskvarter,Odense. Clear gold with surprisingly large & lasting white creamy head. Aroma is both sweet & sour - mostly sweet. Notes of corn & fruit. Vague vinegar notes. Sticky & very easy drinkable gueze.
