Draft at Capones. Pours a hazy amber body with a white head. Frunky citrus, peach and some dry vinous wood. Brett and a dry finish. Maybe its better on draft.

tap at Capone’s. Pours a clear amber with a white head. Nose is of sour tart candy. Taste is the same tart candy. Mouthfeel is nicely sour, but not overly so.

Hazy amber pour. Small head to just a light haze of lace. Light tart nose. Taste is big flat tart with a bunch of leather and a bit of farmhouse funk. Nice white wine pucker puller. Light tart and vinegar.

On tap at Capones. Pours a golden yellow with a medium white head. Aroma is of yeast, oak, fruits and vinegar. Taste is tart with earthy undertones, finishes sweet and sharp. Light mouthfeel.

Bottle, at Den Tatoverede Enke, Copenhagen. Strong fruity aroma with notes of oak, farmhouse, caramel and spices. Sourish flavour, some oak and spices. Not the best gueuze I’ve had.

Pours a hazy amber colour with a big white head. Sweet malt and cider aromas. Light body with medium carbonation make this quite refreshing. Taste is a bit too sweet but otherwise a nice mixture of sweet and sour swiriling around the tongue.

Bottle at Den Engel, Antwerp. Amber, no head, slightly sour aroma. Friendly Gueuze - not challenging at all. Gentle sourness, but also quite a big swig of sweetness. Easy to drink, not amazingly flavoursome, but OK.
