COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
For 6 months the flesh of the fresh sour cherries slowly digests in the Lambic. The intense flavour of cherries and light nuances of almond from the pits determine the flavour of this fruity delicacy.

Note: ABV from 4.5% to 4% at some point.

Bottle split at JFís, cheers to James, 13/12/14. Clear cherry red with a decent crimson covering. Nose is cherry drops, perfumed notes, sweet red berries, sugar. Taste comprises sweet cherry licks, straw, perfume, faint woody tones, light grain, cherry bakewell. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close. So so, too sweet but just about bearable sharing a small bottle twixt deux.

Bottle @ home. Clear light ruby colour with low head and thin body. Nose of sour cherries. Taste of mild cherry stones, unripe cherries and fields. Very refreshing but just not that good.

bottle, Bierzwerg. Red-golden with a red-hued white head. Sweet cherry aroma. Juicy cherry flavour dominates, pleasant yeasty sourness in the background.

Bottle 25cl. Clear deep red color, small frothy pinkish head, mostly lasting, fair lacing; aroma sweetsour, cherry syrup, candy sugar, jam; taste moderate sweet, light sour, cherry, sugary; medium body, sticky texture, average carbonation, finish sweetsour; overall a refreshing fruit beer, less sweet than I expected, but also less sour.

Am Anfang leicht süßlich mit schönem Sauerkirscharoma. Im Abgang leicht bitter - meiner Frau hat es gut gefallen, meins eher nicht. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

(Draught at Cafť Gollem, Amsterdam, 22 Aug 2014) Red colour with frothy, beige head. Fruity nose with cherries, bitter almond and red fruit. Fruity taste with notes of cherries, red fruit, bitter almond and a certain sweetness coming through. Medium body. Straightforward and fairly uncomplicated, but tasty with a fresh cherry character. Quite nice.

375mL bottle, pours a nearly opaque pinkish dark red with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out sugary sweet cherries, but not cloying. Flavour is around the same, with sweetened cherries, but not too sweet nor cloying. Not complex or anything, but itís an easy drinking sugary fruit beer. Nice commercial lambic, as far as they go.
