A red beer with a good head. The aroma is the sour and sharp aroma that suits a kriek. The flavor is soft and on the other hand sharp like a kriek should be and ofcourse with notes of cherry. A really good kriek.

(Bottle 25 cl) Medium red with a dense almost greasy head. Fresh flavours with the cherries being very present. Although this has some sweetness it never cloys, actually I find this pleasantly dry although it’s a commercial Kriek. 010799

St Louis Kriek Lambic, 4.0%, 25 cL bottle. Pours clear and deep imperial red with a lacing pink head. Dense cherry aroma, sulphorish and lending towards almonds. Flavour is sweet and acidic, intense cherry flavour. Holds a mild sulphorish dryness. Goes from sweet to acidic/citric into dry and sulphorish finish.

Bottle. Clear red beer with a big pink head. Very sweet aroma with cherry and a hint of sourness in the background. Sugar-sweet flavor with cherries. Thin body and a finish with sweet cherries.

Bottled. Red colour, reddish small head. Nice cherry and cookies mix in aroma. A bit bitter cherry flavour at first, but the more you drink the more pleasant the flavour is. Easy to drink.

And I thought BelleVue Kriek was fake-tasting.

Clear red with a tiny white and pinkish head. Sweet aroma with cherries and almonds. Flavour was sweet with cherries, almonds and a fairly tart cherry finish. Not bad and quite refreshing.
