Linus_Stick (1559), Moon Township, Pennsylvania, USA May 2, 2008 Thanks, Mr Stitch for grabbing this for me! Falls on the sweet girly side of fruit lambic. Aroma was nice. Strong cherry Jolly Rancher. Pour was a nice murky amber/light red with no head. Taste was like cherry pop. No alcohol detectable. After the swallow the sweet cherry flavor turns to tart and bites the side of the tongue. Nice novelty beer.
RCL (1075), Waltham, Massachusetts, USA Oct 9, 2008 Aroma does not bode too well; cherry cough syrup is the only thing that comes to mind. Flavor is OK, though. No funk at all, just sweet cherry syrup flavor. Mouthfeel is a bit, well, syrupy. mephisto (1125), Taiwan Sep 16, 2008 a cartoonish drink. pour pink colored with cream read head, it has fruity aroma of sourness with sweet flavor. jeremytoni (589), Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA Sep 1, 2008 From a bottle poured a ruby color with a fair amount of head good cherry flavor alittle sweet with a lasting finish. Borresteijn (587), Amstelveen, Netherlands Aug 8, 2008 On tap. Red beer, pink head. Very sweet smell of cherries, just a little musty. Taste is very sweet, cherries, a little sourness/acidity in the finish. A bit too sweet for me. NaturalIce (92), originally from Michigan, New Jersey, USA Jul 19, 2008 I’m not a huge fan of fruiting my beer. This beer has the aroma of staight cheries out of the jar. It looks like cranbeery juice whe poured and has a very sweet flavor. Normally I wouldn’t drnk and I’m sure it will give me a nasty hangover.
