Clear dark red color with a average to large, frothy, good lancing, mostly lasting, red head. Aroma is moderate black currant. Flavor is moderate sweet and light light acidic with a average duration. It is a syntetich berry alike. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. (070608)

A deep red beer with a cherry colored head. The aroma is powerfully of black currant - almost like drinking concentrated black currant juice combined with a very faint note of acicity. The flavor is acidic with a powerful note of black currant, the acidity prickles lightly on the tongue and the palate. Like a black currant juice beer, lovely if You like black currants.

25 cL bottle. Pours deep dark red with a huge solid purple and creamy head. Blackberry aroma from the distance. Sweet and acidic and solid blackberry as it should be. Flavour is citric and of blackberries. Mainly like a juice than a fruitbeer. Citric and sweet at once. Lingering blackberry flavour into the far finish.

(Bottle 25 cl) Pours a clear dark red with a strong, dark red head. Thick aroma of black currants. Very light body with sourish black currant flavour with almost no underlying sweetness. 240706

Bottled (from thebelgianbeershop.com). Deep red colour with some blueish hints, pink mediumsized head. Aroma is black currant, actually quite sour stuff. Flavour is black currant with some fruity and sappy notes. Something between sweet and sour. A nice and drinkable brew.

Bottle. Clear dark red coloured with a pink head. Aroma of black currants and berries. Light acidic flavour of black currants and berries.

Bottle. Medium head with medium duration. Color i purple. Aroma is wonderful strong and lots of blaccurrant. Taste is a bit too sour to be all great.

(Bottle, best before 08-2007) Pours a deep purple body with a large violet head. Aroma of tart black currants. Flavor has a sugary, tartiness of black currants with a dry finish.

Bottle. It’s a clear, at least almost clear, dark ruby beer topped by a small, purple head. Cherrypits, blackcurrant and a little earthy touch in the aroma. The flavor is sweet and sourish, but dominated by blackcurrant. Dry, yet sweet on the palate, medium body fullness. The finish is as the initial flavor dominated by blackcurrant, but there’s also the same sweetness and sourness. Overall, too sweet and blackcurrant-ish, but the sour touch saves the day. 110107

(375ml bottle, best by 8/07) Medium pink/purple head atop a clear grape juice body. Aroma is moderately sweet, strong currant, some blackberry. Taste is sweet and pungent, currant/grape, light blackberry. Sticky medium body. Couldn’t get into this one.
