Nice deep red pour, thin white head. Nice raspberry nose. Taste is tart then very sweet. Not sour or funky. More of a dessert beer.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft to taster. The bar Iím at has this listed at 4.2% on their menu, but itís definitely the St. Louis Premium Framboise, as the tap handle reflects the same picture and name listed on the bottle on the beerís page. Looks solid for the style; a transparent raspberry red with light pink head that dissipates into in lacing fairly quickly. Smells solid; tart raspberries. Tastes like it smells with a sweet backbone and a solid mouthfeel. An easy drinking, refreshing raspberry-forward example of the style. No real funk, but tasty nonetheless.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle: Served in a Chouffe glass:
Medium sized, vast, thick and slowly changing grapefruit colored foamy head. After a short while it leaves a thick lacing on top of a close to clear, if not, clear beautiful red colored beer.
Aroma of dust, oatmeal, some raspberry, light gass, light yeast, hair, creamy, hints of other red fruit and some candy sprinkles.
Flavours of raspberry, sweet and sour, grains, malts, light tone of strange bitterness, iron, cabbage, gass and candy sweet.
Aftertaste has grains and malts, some red fruit, hints of something manure ish and red fruit/raspberry.
Low carbo, soft creamy lightly sour mouthfeel, medium body and a creamy texture.
Strange beer. Bit on the sweet side, but not really sweet as there is some sourness, again that one is pretty light and there is this strange bitterness... Not bad but far from good!

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft at Sixteen Tons Taphouse, Eugene. Pours a very dark reddish-purple. Slight off white head. Aroma is huge, lots of raspberries, some yeast, Body is insanely sweet, like white sugar, but finish is long-lasting, like flat raspberry soda. Or better yet, raspberry juice with sugar added, Reminded of that Simpsons episode where Homer finds a sugar truck overturned and Homer urges the family to use sugar: "It hurts my teeth."

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Dense and slightly hazy raspberry hues. Frothy pink light raspberry hued head sticks to the sides and fades into a thin layer.
Sweet then sour then sweet then raspberry. Kind of all over the place. Pureed raspberries with sugar added and raspberry seeds along the sides. Raspberry syrup drizzled over angel food cake.
Sweet and angel food cake up front. Very soft mouthfeel. Hit of concentrated raspberry in the back followed by generic tartness and raspberry seeds. Sides of cheeks tingle. Pureed strawberries underneath.
A bit too saccharine and sweet. The raspberry was nondescript and the tartness generic. Not a true mouth-puckering sour and when in the mood for something not so mouth-puckering but still sour, the St. Louis Framboise would not be my first pick.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle @ home picked up at Wilburís Fort Collins. Pours a murky maroon appearance with a big, spidery, dark pink head. Spritzy, Raspberry Italian soda, slightly tart aroma. Fairly tart, light to medium bodied, slightly artificial, sweet raspberry flavor. Better than the Peach one but this isnít good and it doesnít get you buzzed quick.

Slightly funky at first, then it is sweet and raspberry dominant. Used to like these but havenít had one in awhile and this one doesnít seem up to par.
