Bottle. Red. Dark sweet raspberries, rasperry seeds and cherries. A sweetish jammy one. Body is medium, sweetish, with a slight acidity to wash it off. Quite a nice balance actually. Finish is raspberry jammy. Nice, sweet&sour drink.

It is not surprising that this lambic both smells and tastes of raspberries. Where many lambic also have little sour taste, these are nevertheless truly fruity sweet and fizzy. It may not have as many applications as other beers have, but a cool welcome drink anyway. Garnished with a fresh raspberry is excellent. And I wonder if you can impress guests by telling that it is actually beer?

* Old rating, best before 06. 2013. Das Bier ist süß mit Himbeeren. Die Lambic-Säure ist deutlich zu spüren, die Himbeeren sind aber etwas zu süß geraten. Süßlicher Nachgeschmack mit einem Hauch Säure.

Pours red with a healthy pink head of foam. Smell is of sweet and sour raspberries with a hint of Brett. Sweet raspberries dominate though I do get some tart notes and again, a hint of Brett. The 2.8% abv doesn’t get in the way at all. Lol. A very good fruit beer; not so good a Lambic.

Bottle at a tourist trap at grade place, Brussels. Very sweet, fruit syrup brew, couldn’t pick up much more lambic apart from on the label.

had a bottle sample a while back, backlog, deep clear red colour with a pink head, aroma of raspberries, candy sugar, raspberrie syrup, artificial sweetners, dust, murky watery mouthfeel. their entire serie is so overdone sweet.
