YK23 (204), Israel Jan 4, 2008 Tap: some earthy aroma, weak yeasty aroma, some mustyness in the arome and flavor as well, extreamly sweet and cloying, sugery, artifcial and real rasberry notes, weak sourness and tartness, not much a beer not much of a lambic, i did’nt like this one.

Pours deep red with some brownish notes. A good, creamy, pink head that stays for a little while. Aroma is sweet, lots of fresh raspberries and some tart barnyard. Fine mouthfeel, lowish carbonation. Sweet flavour, lots of fruit again. Light tartness and some weak caramel. Okay for a sweet lambic. fonefan (4491), Ulfborg, Denmark Aug 12, 2008 Bottle 25cl @ home. Clear medium red color with a average, frothy, good lancing, mostly lasting, pink head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy raspberry, rapsberry jam. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet with a average to long duration, and some sulphur notes in the finish. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. (040608) BelgianBeerGal (904), Sabbatical in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA Aug 10, 2008 375ml bottle. Pours out a darker red colour with a medium, bubbly pink head. Huge aroma of raspberries and not much else. Raspberries once again dominate the flavour. Very easy drinking but not very complex for a fruit beer. Definitely more fruit than beer. Borresteijn (543), Amstelveen, Netherlands Aug 8, 2008 Bottle. Deep red colour, pink head. Huge sweet smell of raspberries, overpowering everything else. Taste is very sweet, raspberries. Great as a lemonade (still too sweet though), not as a beer. brigg (128), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA Jul 28, 2008 Updated: Jul 30, 2008(bottle) A dark red beer with a small, slightly pink head. The strong ripe-raspberry aroma is just as sweet as the beer itself. It actually tastes quite delicious, it just doesn’t taste much like a beer, more like liquid candy (or a soda). The flavor is pretty one-dimensional, though the body has a nice feel to it.
