I was heating this beer in a pot - developed a huge and soapy-foamy head which got bigger and bigger like a vulcano when I poured it into the - mug. Sorry guys, I didn’t want to risk my good glasses with hot stuff, I am tippsy enough the break enough good glasses by myself ;-) So I guess this beer has got a deep red colour with the big head already mentioned and medium to thin body. Aroma of this little sachets against moths. Taste sourness, sour berries, flowers, lavendel and sour morello cherries. There is just a big unpleasant sourness (and I love sourness when it is in a good way) combined with this flavour of moths killers. Awful but hopefully not unhealthy and not completly unenjoyable. Just nasty and unpleasant - like moths.

Pours a dark pink purple beer with a good pinky head. Smells incredible sweet, cinnamon and like gluh wine which I dont like. Tastes light sour, bit lemon, apple pie and some sweetness. Weird stuff. Thin body, watery texture and an average carbo.

(bottle, warm) pours a clear ruby colour with a quickly-diminishing pink head. aroma of heavy cinnamon, cherries and vanilla, with a hint of earth and nettles. flavour is mostly the same, heavy cinnamon and vanilla, quite sweet, with some cherries, black olives and custard. medium-bodied with soft carbonation.

roze/rood met redelijke roze kraag
aroma: rood fruit / kersen
smaken: redelijk zoet, matig bitter, licht zuur, stevig gefruit, kersen, kaneel, kruidig
medium body, matig zoet,

hhmmmm...kom er tijdens het drinken achter, na het etiket te inspecteren dat het een Glühkriek is... vandaar dat de smaken wat anders zijn...toch maar een keer warm proberen :(

Nice to drink a warm beer for a change. Complex aroma of krieks and gluhwein. And that’s how i have to define the taste as well. But nice to heat up on a cold winters day! Lekker om eens een warm bier te drinken. Complex aroma van krieken en gluhwein. Ook de smaak moet ik zo definieren. Toch wel lekker om ’s winters mee op te warmen.

Bottle at home in London with Lyoli. Pours clear red with a fine, pink foam head. Interesting nose, definite cinnamon mixed with sweet cherries and mild gingerbread. Big sweet flavor with sugary cherries, some spiced cake, apples and cinnamon. Light bodied with average carbonation. Sweet, sugary finish, a touch artificial, plenty more cinnamon, ripe cherries, some cake. Novel stuff, although I can’t say I’m crazy about the cherry-cinnamon combination.

Clear red colour, brown hue, little to no head. Sweet aroma, spicy, cinnamon, gluh wine. Sweet flavour, spicy, cherry, cherry candy. Sweet spicy finish, somewhat cloying.
Very much a gluh wine character, but with sweet beer. Sweet and warming. Absolutely pleasant in a cold night. Wouldn’t want to drink a big bottle, but wouldn’t want to do that with gluh wine either. Better than expected.

Bottle by 04-2014. Drinking this at cellar temp. Nose is heavy dark cherry, sweet and wintery, can practically smell the snow! Icing and warming spices, a reasonable approximation. Ruby red body with a light pink head. Taste is sweet, sugar that sucks water right out of the gums, and the above-mentioned flavors (cherry is lightly puckering and sour). A little fizzy, medium body, nice glüh-ish aftertaste,

Draught at a Christmas market in Berlin. Served warm. Cherry in the aroma. Flavour is dry fruity with a dry peppery finish. Nicer than the regular glüwein.
