Can from the LCBO - shared with jerc. Dark ruby with a faint pink head. Aroma of cherry cough drops with some decent funky notes. Flavour - red Life Savers (Jer, my wife and I all said it at the same time) with a mild tart funkiness in the finish. Honestly, I expected much worse from this, expecially since it was from a can (I’m not anti-can in general, but it just seems wrong for a Lambic) - but as far as sweetened fruit lambics go, it’s actually pretty good.

Pours deep red purple clear, with off-white pinky creamy head. Aromas cherry, yeast, bubblegum, plums. Carbonation medium full ans mooth in mouth. Medium full-bodied with slick texture. Middletaste cherry, sweetener flavours with sour fruity edge. Aftertaste include rapid flvours shift into some woody dry flvours while the finish remains somewhat sweet and crispy. The sweetness is little off putting but I like the style.

Cloudy red-amber with a lively slightly reddish off-white head. nice lacing. Aroma is sweet cherries and a touch of marzipan. Taste is more balanced, less sweet, a nice sourness, hints of almonds. Dry fruity slightly astringent finish with a lasting sweet-sour kick. Light-medium body. Slick texture. Soft carbonation.

Body is light and a little hazy, full of bubbles with a rich tint of red apple. Scents of sweet cherries, almost like candy, resemble a cherry Blow Pop. Flavors are of cherries that are very sweet with a ripe tart aftertaste. This bitterness of a fresh cherry lingers throughout the mouth and smooths out into a mellow fruity finish. Light on the flavor of cherry I’d say, but in the end it is very refreshing and pleasant.
