(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a big foamy white head. Sweet grainy and slightly herbal hoppy nose. Sweet flavour, light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Distinctively grainy and slightly corny malty taste; a bit slim grainy malty finish with shy herbal hops and a tinge of metal. Mediocre but drinkable (20.VII.09).

Grima (1891) - Saarburg, Rhineland-Palatinate, GERMANY - JUN 26, 2011
Pours a golden yellow beer with lots of fine foam and an incredible number of CO2 bubbles. The smell is hoppy grainy, slightly sweet. It starts moderately hoppy, little tart, a little more sweet, grainy. The middle part is slightly hoppy, but the tangy flavor is dominant. The finish is also hoppy, but the grainy aroma is always present.

Hopfig-grasig im Geruch. Herb besetzter Antrunk, etwas brotig. Anschließend etwas verdünnter Mittelteil mit herb-würziger Mischung. Abgangs gewinnt das Bier an Tiefe durch Malz und hallt ordentlich lang bitter nach. Solide.Test vom 23.11.2009, Gebinde: Glasflasche
