2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Copenhagen 7/11 2015. 50 cl can from Netto. Pseudo German Beer from Aarhus. With a German monk thrown in to be on the safe side. Pours hazy orangeish with white head. Settles as thin layer of foam. Aroma is sweet lemonade and wheat malt. Medium carbonation and watery palate. Taste is watery and sweetish. Like a diluted lemonade. Ok for a discount wheatbeer.

2.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
The color and the head is typical of a hefe weisse, namely nice hazy golden color with a little orange-yellow tinge and a foam that is creamy and very rich. Aroma is not much of. I think it lacks a wheat beers typical freshness in the form of fresh grain and yeast. The taste is nice and refreshing, but I miss also more banana flavor. It tastes a bit of banana, but unfortunately only a little discreet. The finish is a little indistinct vegetable character (perhaps overcooked carrots and beans?), But in no way an overwhelming way. It does not quite what you would expect from a German hefeweizen.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
The aroma is full of banana, a little hint of alcohol is detected, dried fruits and wheat. The taste is full of wheat, dried fruits and banana. The color is orange and typical weissbier. Not an impressing beer I must admit.
