Hazy yellow appearance, medium head. Prevailing bread and banana flavours, less yeast than typical Hefeweizen. Slightly too sweet, but overall decent and refreshing.

It absolutely beautiful to look at. There.. The one positive thing about this beer. The taste and palate reminds me mostly of seaweed, ripe banana and overripe peas. It’s sickeningly sweet but with a finish that reminds me of (the smell of) nailpolish more than anything. Sorry but I’m not going to finish this.. I may just have move away from weissbier altogether

Ogi’s (thanks!). Made in Germany. Poured an opaque ochre-apricot body with a creamy white head. Sweet yeasty aroma. Mild, soft taste dominated by cloves, vague sweet notes, liight banana and caramel, just a touch of tartness to somewhat balance it. Not bad for a "random brand" beer - though it’s apparently expensive in Hungary.

Can, 50cl. Pours hazy, orange yellow colour with a creamy, big inviting off-white head. Aroma is the well-known expected banana, yeast and light citrus refreshing sensation. Little hobs and very weak spices. Taste follows the nose, with more banana and citrus than in the aroma. Not much spices, cloves or pepper. You won’t find the rich, complex flavours here. Sadly bit watery mouth-feel. Soft carbonation. Great value for money though.
