COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A top-fermenting golden strong beer of 7.6% ABV, that is very firm-bodied, fruity-dry and assertive. It has a fine hop-aroma (dry-hopping is used) and a splendid apertif bitterness in palate and finish.

8/08/2011 33cl bottle @ home - BB: 28/01/12 (2011-371)

Little cloudy yellow to light orange beer, white creamy solid head, stable and a bit adhesive. Aroma: very hoppy, citrus, candi sugar. MF: lots of carbon, medium body. Taste: citrus, some malts, little bitterness, pretty watery, bit of banana. Aftertaste: little bit of citrus, very watery too.

500mL ceramic swingtop bottle. Poured a hazy golden color with sediment and big white head. Aromas of fruit, yeast and some spice. Tastes of sweet malt and yeast, with a good deal of hop bitterness at the end. A nicely balanced tripel with good carbonation and mouthfeel.

Bottle. Straw golden, stable head. Wheaty and hoppy, but somewhat subdued aroma. Taste seems to have all the usual Tripel components but again it seems to be just a little too watery. Light and short finish. Not impressed.

Bottle. Murky dull gold with less than a coat of off-white head. Some clumps. Aroma of mandarins, cloves. Very sweet with candi sugar, oranges, vanilla, struggling pepper and cloves. Cheesy yeast note. Sherry-like touch to the malt flavours.Well within date, but if this was something it didn’t make it here. Poor.

Classica tripel di stampo fiammingo, ma mi ha convinto decisamente poco rispetto a tante sue sorelle...

Bottle (33 cl) from the Cracked Kettle. Hazy clear golden, medium white head. Dusty and earthy aroma. Dry with low bitterness. Very dull.

Bottle conditioned, 330ml from Marche de Natalie, Bouillon, Belgium. Gold with white head, managed to avoid pouring the yeasty lumps. It seems that my rating is quite at odds with a few below, but I found this to be a smashing beer, there is a lovely dry tangy fruitiness on the palate with a fresh hoppy twang. Dry bitterness throughout, but still with a modicum of spicing. Wished I had more of this.
