COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A top-fermenting golden strong beer of 7.6% ABV, that is very firm-bodied, fruity-dry and assertive. It has a fine hop-aroma (dry-hopping is used) and a splendid apertif bitterness in palate and finish.

Dark yellow colored with hazy appearance. Little white head. Strongly hopped grassy aroma with citrus, some spices also come up. Medium bodied, carbonated palate. Flavor is also nice with same hopped note dominating, citrus also here. Simple and nice tripel.

Shared this one w/ SkyCop32. Pours a hazy medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty, hoppy, yeasty. Flavor is moderately sweet, highly alcoholic, citrus.

0,33 l bottle bought in BelgiumBeers, Antwerp.
Poured hazy orange-golden with a nice creamy, off white lacing head. Fine spicey aroma of coriander, citrusses and orange peel, good hops. Medium bodied one with a lively carbonation. Fruity taste with spicies like coriander, clove and vanilla, mild honey, citrusses because of hop. Dry and spicy aftertaste. Fine one, this is underrated here. The label says the beer was brewed under the german purity law...In my opinion this is a bullcrap...

Bottle shared by Eyedrinkale: Murky deep orange pour with an off white film of head. Very sweet and sugary aroma- tons of residual maltose making it reminiscent of vanilla and honey. Slick body- dead and oxidized flavor. Sweet, papery, very honeyish with brief flavors. Has some lingering cardboard. Too much residual maltose and oxidation.

Orange/brown/rust hue with small white creamy head, smells of banana and a little clove, light syrupy texture, tastes a little flat and sour, not much to it, somewhat disappointing and I sense a stomach ache coming

Had this as Sint Laurent Triple - BB-date 1991. Bottle looks good, beer in the glass also. Orange-brown, small head. Starts a bit sourish-woody, fine malty. Finish a bit grasy-prickly, still woody-old. Nice!
