COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A top-fermenting golden strong beer of 7.6% ABV, that is very firm-bodied, fruity-dry and assertive. It has a fine hop-aroma (dry-hopping is used) and a splendid apertif bitterness in palate and finish.

330 ml bottle. C. BB 13/11/16. From belgianbeerfactory.com.
Hazy golden colour with a small white head. Belgian yeast, rubber, caramel sweetness, malt and mild hops in the aroma. The flavour is yeast, bitterness, caramel sweetness, mild hops and malt. The alcohol is quite nicely hidden.

Molto buona. Non amara, leggermente frizzante. Sembra molto leggera nonostante i 7 gradi

Buona birra. Buona birra insomma.

Bottle. Pours nearly clear pale golden with stable white head. Clear aroma of fruit and flowers, with notes of hops. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with sourish and sweetish floral and fruity notes. Mildly bitter aftertaste. Excessively high carbonation. Drinkable but nothing special. Way too expensive: 10 euro per bottle in a supermarket in Poland!

I tried a 330 cc bottle, purchased at a local store. When it’s poured in the glass a cloudy golden beer it’s seen. The foam head it’s exaggerated at the begin but in a couple of seconds disappear without any trace. Taste is the expected for a Strong beer, with an alcoholic end.

Aroma fruttato, non troppo alcolica, gran confezione, si presenta bene, per il sapore non male ma l’avrei preferita più decisa, da riprovare.

A bottle I picked up on sale on rakuten. It poured a hazy pale gold color with a thin head of foam which dissipated ridiculously quickly leaving behind virtually no lacing. The aroma was kind of sour and at first I thought the beer might have gone off as it is in a green bottle. It is sweet, tart and slightly sour. Interesting but not at all what I was expecting. I didn’t like it as much as other St-Paul’s I’ve had or other triples which I guess set the bar high. Mildy dissapointing but ok overall.

0.5l ceramic bottle from a local supermarket in Monfalcone. This is a blurry golden-yellow one with a really small hard to get anything out from-bubbly just off-white top. On the nose it’s soft and non-extreme but I get some sweet fruitiness with sugar, sour red berries. Raspberries actually and some slightly dusty cellar hints. Nice enough really. It’s right below average on the carbonation and the mouthfeel is almost, well not shockingly thin but definitely quite watery. Soft fruit-yeasty flavors. Some salty hints with some more, this time sweet raspberries and some mild grass. Not to interesting to be honest, but it’s easy drinking and not bad-tasting in any way. 12.01.2012

330ml bottle. Hazy light brown color. Medium size, thick white head. Spicy, mild citrus, faint cinnamon, yeasty aroma. Watery, yeasty, fruity flavor. Nice and crisp.
