0,33L bottle (from beerExpress, Tallinn). Pours golden with huge whiteish head. The head stays. Aroma is fresh fruits, spices, coriander, yeast. Flavor is sweet, fruits, citrus, spices, slight metallic notes. Finish is somewhat fruity dry bitter. Alcohol is well covered. Overall: less hoppy than expected, but otherwise it’s another well-made belgian brew.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
The tripel in this series, either from a stone pitcher or from a beautifully shaped, elegant, unusual bottle. Golden blonde, clear robe, sweet character, a bit sugary, malt sweetness with subdued fruitiness, some aromatic hops in the finish but some residual sweetness as well. Unusual tripel but like the dubbel in this series, lacks body.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Aroma of caramel and not so much more, just a few hints of spices. Big white foam which doesn’t last long. A bit under-attenuated so that it’s too much sweet and heavy-bodied for its style. Medium-high carbonation which is good. It’s pleasant but really not a champion for its style. From a tripel I expect an exploding fizzy aroma of spices and hops and above all a dry texture, all things this beer doesn’t actually have. A cheap tripel even though its cost is not at all different from that of the more famous ones.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottiglia, colore ambrato con un bel cappello di schiuma abbastanza persistente, l’aroma è il gusto sono quelli tipici delle classiche Tripel belghe. Davvero niente male
