Nice aroma, has that German "skunk." Clear, not a whole lot of head. Great taste, iím not one for these types of beers, but this is one of my favs. Light to drink but nice flavor.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle. Aroma is hop and gas, something like propane. Big white head, and clear yellow body. Very little flavour, a little hop, no malt. Oily mouthfeel and a cold boiled vegetable finish

0.6 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20
This beer is an insult to German brewing.
It tastes like garbage, has a terrible aftertaste and is not suitable for consumption in my professional opinion.
This beer should be sold by the 30 pack for around $10.99
I still wouldn't buy it.
Its bitter swill!

2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Pours a clear golden with a big, white head that dissipates into a cap. Sweet and grainy aroma. Light sweetness on the tongue, followed by big skunkiness. Light and easy to suck down, one of my dadís favorites.

1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 2/20
Not the worst Iíve experienced, though certainly not the best either. Grassy and grainy aromas. Pale golden with a fizzy foamy head. Lightly bitter. Light bodied with a dry finish.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Pours a clear, faint yellow with some carbonation and a very white head. Aroma is very skunky with malt, grain and swamp. The mouth is a little better, but not much. Sweet and grainy, with slight malt characteristics.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
This may have been my very first European import beer. Itís even possible that I first had this beer the same summer that I had my first Samuel Adams beer long, long ago. Back then I thought this beer to be different and almost classyÖ well, at least compared to what I was drinking at the time. I was almost proud to be seen drinking it. Not so much now, even if thereís a busty woman on the label.
I donít know if itís because this beer had to sit in a green bottle or if itís just a coincidence, but it seems to pour a light, pale yellowish color with what seems to be a green sheen to it as it exits the bottle and fills the glass. Itís so clear that it seems like tinted glass, well-carbonated, yet not maintaining any amount of head at all. The nose is almost spot-on with something like a Becks, with a very pale, subdued hop characterized lager aroma. It smells like the definition of a mass-produced German lager. In the mouth it tastes like fresh malted barley with no caramelized malts whatsoever. Itís straight-up dry barley. Although itís almost as plain as you can get, itís still unoffensive. What hops come out in this are very subdued and donít seem to be used to enhance the flavor in any way.
Iíd use this to cook some brats, maybe. Or maybe Iíd drink it if it was the only alternative to its American counterpart. Otherwise, there are alot of other options for a well-flavored, but light pilsener/lager out there.
