COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Two row spring barley from the south of England, a special strain of yeast, ice-age glacier water from the "Rotenburger Rinne," plus hops from the famous "Hallertau Hop Gardens" in southern Germany are the ingredients that give St. Pauli Girl Lager its unsurpassed quality and taste and keeps you coming back for more.

Bottle. Really watery and effervescent. I think I would grab an American Macro over one of these.

I really do not like this one. Like sucking on a skunk's ass. At least there's boobs on the front of the bottle... ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

St. Pauli girl is a middle of the pack golden German brew. I would rather drink Bitburger, Lowenbrau, or Spaten. It is on par with Beck’s. It is better than Warsteiner. The dry crispness and German hop character are there but the body is a little light.

Bottle. Pours a crystal clear and very light golden color with a moderate head. Nose is a little skunky, but not too bad. Taste is a tad sweet, which is weird.

Cereal, malty bread, grainy. Not bad but not good. Very pronounced hoppy zest aroma.

Pours a clear yellow with a thin white film of head. Aroma is exclusively yeast esters. Flavor is also mostly yeasty water with only the slightest bit of doughy malt.

bottle from pivnizub, diky! Clear pale golden, mid-sized head. Hop detectable in the aroma, very mild, slightly malty with dusty hop flavours.

C’mon guys, she’s not too bad. Cute label. Smells like a lager. Tastes like a lager. Malty, a bit bitter and hoppy and that pale lager crispiness that we expect, at least for a refreshing, cooling sensation. She’s just a common lager, of course. What did you expect? There’s much worse around.

UPDATED: SEP 13, 2012 Bottle: Golden, clear, small white foamy layer, grassy and papery nose; light bodied and a bit tart, dryish bitter-sweet flavour; bitter and watery finish. Yes, surely this glorious beer will multiply the glory of german beer in the world...

The first time I had St. Pauli Girl beer was when I was a young man living in the dorms in college. I had a lady friend in the Twin Cities who was going to visit me. My roommate brought in a six-pack of St. Pauli Girl, and we laughed because I would (hopefully) be getting some action from this girl over the weekend, a girl from St. Paul, Minnesota. It didn’t happen. To me, this beer will always be that experience in beverage form.
