MoritzF (8776) - looking for a flat around Munich, GERMANY - JUL 31, 2012
(bottle from a German junk-shop, 35.5cl) Clear, pale golden colour with a blond fluffy foam. Papery and slightly sour-doughy malty aroma with notes of grassy hops. Mildly bitter and sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a modest if not flat carbonation. Strawy and doughy pale malty taste with notes of cheap and grassy hops; moderately dry and slightly bitter hoppy finish with grassy notes and a bit of cardboard. Dull. 06.VII.12

12oz bottle. Clear yellow color. Bubbles on the side of the glass. Minimal white head. Good crisp and smooth not-overdone carbonation, drier finish. Very easy to drink, refreshing lager. Good bread aroma, light bit of hayish barnyardy hops. Inoffensive taste, just a very light bitterness, good sweet taste. Solid pils. Great to enjoy with mac and cheese.

Pours clear yellow with white head, aroma has notes of some grass, biscuit. Taste is nice hoppy up front, some biscuit and pils malt, finishing slightly bitter. Fairly nice, drinkable.

bottle from pivnizub, diky! Clear pale golden, mid-sized head. Hop detectable in the aroma, very mild, slightly malty with dusty hop flavours.

DocLock (8593) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 28, 2004
Pale yellow in color, with aroma of slight malt and corn. Tastes rather bland, but a slight notch above BMC stuff. I can’t believe that this used to be the "beer snob" favorite at many Penn State parties.

Bottle. Poured clear gold with a white head that was bubbly and dissipated quickly. Aroma had notes of grain, bread and hay with a bit of grassy hops. Flavor was similar, mainly grains with just a bit of grassy hops.

A classic euro-lager-- pale yellow, big foamy head, green skunky hop edge and a dry finish. Many find them boring, but I like ’em!

Aroma is strongly grassy with a bit of cannibis and eau d’skunk. Pours with a frothy white head that turns into a white ring around the glass. Some lacing. Taste is dry and grassy. Mouthfeel is dry and fizzy. Not sure what I was expecting, but I am a bit dissapointed at how common and macro this beer tastes.

Yellow coloured and clear. Has a white head, medium duration. Aroma is malty sweet, flour too. Flavor is moderate sweet and finish moderate bitter. Dry, creamy texture and lively carbonation.
