Bottle. Sweet-sour, slightly musty aroma. Light golden yellow with small head. Slightly sweet barley malt with a mild hops finish. I can see why I thought this was the world’s greatest beer back in my BMC days. Oh well, New Year’s Eve is meant to be spent with old friends even if they don’t mean as much to you as they use to.

Wow, this is skunkier than other famous green bottle brand ;). This aroma was so overwhelming than crushed into flavor department, St. Pauli Girl (did not bother asked for name) tried to resist but lost. Bye skunky (I meant sweetie).

12 oz. bottle, hoppy, crisp straw flavor, on the thin side so not much of a finish, no head to speak of really

GT2 (5664) - Riverslime, California, USA - NOV 22, 2009
Bottle. Pours a clear, light yellow with a minuscule white head that diminishes quickly. No lacing. Corn, hay, metallic aroma. Taste is sweet corn, metallic astringency. Seltzer water body. Lively carbonation. Quick, sweet finish.

Ernest (5627) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - MAR 9, 2002
UPDATED: JUL 28, 2007 Bottle. Head is initially small, frothy/fizzy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is clear light yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (grain, malt syrup), trace hops (flowers), light note of DMS. Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately bitter, slightly unclean. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively/fizzy carbonation. The epitome of "mass produced". No character whatsoever.

Bottle. Pours a pale golden body with a white straw head. Grainy with corn fruit and butter, hints of earth and a dull bitterness. Eh.

Tap@All Bar One. Similiar to Becks. Quite clean, with some grassy hop notes and a light sweetness, and mild bitterness. A little bland though, but reasonably drinkable. There are better German Pils’ out the there.

This was very undermalty for a CGP. I really like an all-malt, non skunked version of this style but this was just crap for what I was expecting.
