Two row spring barley from the south of England, a special strain of yeast, ice-age glacier water from the "Rotenburger Rinne," plus hops from the famous "Hallertau Hop Gardens" in southern Germany are the ingredients that give St. Pauli Girl Lager its unsurpassed quality and taste and keeps you coming back for more.

the aroma is skunk like, but the beer has a nice after taste that is easy to get used to unfortunately the taste seems to randomly change before you even finish one bottle.

Not as ’hoppy’ as Becks, yet very nice on it’s own. Worth a try.

Not a bad beer. Much less skunky than Beck’s. It has a fair mouthfeel and not a lot of after taste. It has enough hops ot be interesting. Of course, anything is better than some of the Amnerican crap.

It’s alright if you’re looking for a change. I thought it had an aftertaste though.

For a Pilsner this is pretty heavy and moderately bitter. From the buxom blonde on the bottle I thought this was going to rock but it was somewhat dissappointing. Definitely not a thirst quencher. May be good with some snacks.

St Pauli Girl bottle poured into pint glass. Pilsner taste but a better pilsner than the American pilsners. Still not the greatest beer I gave it a 7 out of 20. If you are looking for a really good German beer look elsewhere it's ok but it's not what I'd call good.
