COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Two row spring barley from the south of England, a special strain of yeast, ice-age glacier water from the "Rotenburger Rinne," plus hops from the famous "Hallertau Hop Gardens" in southern Germany are the ingredients that give St. Pauli Girl Lager its unsurpassed quality and taste and keeps you coming back for more.

Not as ’hoppy’ as Becks, yet very nice on it’s own. Worth a try.

Slightly skunky. Distinct flavor. Lighter than the typical Euro-beer but still has a touch of European flavor.

I really enjoy St. Pauli Girl. It has a nice light yellow color and smells just a tad skunky and rich. The taste is just bitter enough to make those salty chips taste fantastic. Drink this one ICE COLD as it taste so much better that way. Doesn’t hold up as well as it warms so chug-a-lug!

UPDATED: MAY 10, 2004 I completely agree with 'Wasted Youth Brew' - 'Nothing like drinking out of a beer with a hot blonde on the bottle, holding more beer, it really makes you want to dive on in and get funky. As for taste, it’s a delicious tasting German pilsner, smooth all the way down to the last drop, a very sensational brew. Reminded me of Heineken, but better than Heineken.'

A very strong smelling, but flavorfull beer. I enjoyed the taste a lot. Not my absolute favorite, but definiately exceptional.

Bottle. St Pauli’s lager is one of the better affordable lagers out there. It is a very light golden color with a very light head. The carbonation seems to be well balanced and the brew goes down smoothly. The aroma is lightly skuntastic. All in all this is a solid beer worthy of few nights of drinking.

A nice little pilsener. I prefer it to Heineken, but there are definitely better German brews out there. Try something from Munich, there’s a reason it’s the capital of brewing.

Pouring a nice medium gold, this had a great bitter aroma, along with the regulation foamy white head of normal size. Taste was enjoyable, as were the mouthfeel and aftertaste.
