another slightly better than average yellow beer. not really skunky, so kudos for that, but not something i’ll buy again either. there are better pilseners out there when the mood hits."

Transfer from BA review on 4-1-14- Poured from green bottle into a pint glass Appearance – The beer pours a light golden color with a two finger head of a pure white color. The head has a decent level of retention, slowly fading to leave a moderate level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass. Smell – Now being poured from a green bottle this is not too surprising, but the beer is full of a big skunky smell. Along with this aroma is a decently strong grainy smell as well as a bit of a grassy and hay like aroma. Taste – The taste begins with a drier grainy taste with just a hint of a caramel sweetness. As the taste advances some more grassy and herbal flavors come to the tongue along with a light skunk flavor. Overall the skunk is quite light however and with a bit of a biscuit flavor and a slightly dwindling of the caramel more toward the end of the taste, one is left with a mild and somewhat crisp flavor to linger on the tongue. Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is on the thinner and more watery side with a carbonation level that is on the average to slightly higher side. Both are quite appropriate for the style of the brew and make for an easy drinker. Overall – Nothing really special here. A dry lager that, unfortunately due to the desire to put in a green bottle, has a slightly skunky flavor with a big skunk aroma. Nothing too special, but not insanely offensive either.

Bottle. Medium sweet taste. Aroma of grass/hay. Medium sweet taste, light dry finish. Pretty decent for a macro.

Distinct skunky aroma. Mild watery flavor with no aftertaste. Burp flavor (you know what I mean) tastes like the beer smells, skunky and unpleasant.

Aroma of faint hops with cardboard. Appearance is minimal head and okay yellow body with no carbonation. flavour is weak lemon and wine with a dry finish. It’s a boring but adequate lager.

yellow with small white head. Smells scruffy. Tastes bland. No reason to drink this one.

From 12 oz bottle at the 2014 German Bierfest (ATL). Pour looks good but head had weak retention. Relatively malty aroma is a little more appealing than the more hoppy flavor. Grassy hops linger on and on in the mildly bitter aftertaste.

Not great but not real bad. They call it a lager but it reminds me of a pilsner. Light straw color. Pretty watery for a german beer.

UPDATED: OCT 4, 2014 Overloaded with hay malts and skunked hops. Strange finish that is both pleasantly bitter and watery.

Not too much to say here. White, pillowy head that disappears quickly. Body is a hazy yellow with little carbonation. Aroma is closer to a pilsner than a lager. Taste is minimal with some sweet malty notes in there. Aftertaste is none. A little underwhelming, and not exactly what I’d expect for its style.
