Bottle. Smells skunky when opened. Tastes clean and crisp with malt sweatness and little bit of hops on the finish. The taste is yeasty aswell. pretty typical, nothing special here.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz green glass bottle.
Pours a beautiful golden clear color. Thin papery head.
No skunk. Malty and hoppy. Very nice. Maybe a touch of biscuit.
Flavor is tasty. Grassy hops. A little bitter but not too much. It does have some biscuit on the flavor.
Mouthfeel is very clean. Crisp. Has a slick finish. Medium to light body.
Overall, this is more of a pilsner than a lager, and it is quite good for either style. If you can get one that?s not skunky, it?s hard to beat.

Faint grain and malt aroma. Light golden in color with a two finger, fast fading white head. Great warm weather, refreshing beer.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Poured from 12 oz bottle into pilsner glass
Appearance: pours a 1+" frothy head that drops slowly. Color is clear pale straw with mild streaming carbonation.
Aroma: initially a bit of skunk (green bottle) once that subsided, some mild sweet malt and grassiness.
Mouthfeel: light and watery with a somewhat dry finish.
Flavor: sweet yeast rolls with a mild hop bite that lingers in the finish.
Overall: nothing offensive (other than the initial skunk), but not near the best in this style.

Funny to read repeated "corn" comments. Sure, it is an InBev product, but it does not contain corn, so you have to discount those reviews. Lower alcohol content can be a plus when you have chores. Taste is acceptable and German enough. Not my favorite beer, but readily available and modestly priced.

Classic german beer. A staple that is light with a light taste and distinct german aroma.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
This is the typical yellow skunky beer...but not quite like bud, etc. Smoother since itís a "pilsner". Besides that, the taste isnít all that bad. Iíd say that itís drinkable, but barely. Donít know why anyone would buy this though, with so many alternatives out there for the same price.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Clear gold pour with a healthy one finger head. Slightly skunked aroma with a silky smooth body & German malt flavor thatís more velvety smooth than crisp. Finishes watery but thatís ok, its a pale lager and a step above others I can think of. I could really get into drinking this on a regular basis as a lawnmower beer.
