2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Better than the original St. Pauli Girl but that isn’t really a big acomplishment in my opinion. Got this at a wedding recep (it was either this or Corona Light) so I figured what the heck. Dark honey color with a medium thick beige head with little lacing. Slight malt nose but nothing to write home about. Light malt and nut flavoring but again they aren’t really pushing the envelope here. I would not go out of my way to get it again.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
I like this beer for a big macro brew. Dark brown pour. Off white head. Aromas of malt and maybe some yeast. A tiny bit sweet on the tongue. Slight amt of bitterness on the finish...not too bad.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Sour malt aroma - slight skunikiness. Cola color with small head. Sour malt and light molasses flavor. Probably would be a little better if I’d gotten a fresher bottle but still doubt a beer much better than average.

2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Crystal clear, copper lager with a medium-sized, creamy, beige head. Decent retention; good lacing.
The aroma is of tawny port, maple syrup, milk chocolate and brown sugar. The flavor is a touch on the sweet and thin side. Poorly hopped. None of the nice elements of the nose make an appearance in the flavor. Medium-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Short, sweet, watery finish.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottle @ home, picked up at Wilbur’s Fort Collins. Pours a deep burgundy orange appearance with a thin light brown head. Toasty grain / caramel / nutty, cookie dough aroma with mild hops and a bit of skunk. Burnt sugar / caramel, slightly sweet, a bit metallic, mild cardboard flavor. Bottle seems a bit old but I really never liked this beer much at all. Hopefully this is the last time I’ll ever drink it.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
not wretched, and a step or two or three above the classic and the NA. like a light dunkel, has the requisite flavors and aroma, just less of it all.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
This one has an amber color, with aromas of malt, slight nuts, and slight iced tea. Tastes malty, with hints of nuts and a slight iced tea/coffee finish.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 8/20
Clear brown, rapidly receding off-white head. Low aroma of caramel, maybe maple. Bland palate, you really have to search for the little caramel that is there! Weird really-- a nearly flavourless brown beer that calls itself a dunkel.
