This bottled brew poured a medium sized head of frothy fine to large sized mostly diminishing white colored bubbles that left behind a fair lacing. The body contained average carbonation, was transparent with a few yest swirls and copper brown in color. Its aroma contained notes of dirt malty hoppy caramel mild . Its mouth feel is thin mild hop with a lingering slightly tingly mellow palate and a aftertaste. Its flavor contained mild bitter caramel malt hop notes.

Bottle. Pasteurizing the beer doesn’t do it any fav ours., Very plain and clean. Some toasty/earthy malt characters, some green citric hops in the finish. A little bitter towards the finish. Theres not much happening though.

This brew’s bitters hit me a bit hard on the first sip, but St. Peter’s is a brew worth getting to know. When served well chilled the malt and hops comes though and the bitters prove to be interesting and complex, rather than overwhelming.

Cask at Jeruselum Tavern London Interesting hops on this ruby brown beer but served a bit too cold and although a hoppy finish, not enough malt to give it structure

Bottled: Light amber coloured. Clear. Small beige head. Aroma of sweetness, light caramel and malt. Flavour is buttery and fruity. Has light cocoa notes and very vague grassy tones. Ends on a light bitter note. Is quite thin bodied. Easy to drink. Easy to forget.

Bottle, courtesy of John White. Amber gold, moderate white head and gentle condition. Pleasant fruit malt and caramel with a background of flowery hops and a trace of cowpat in the nose, gentle sweet caramel initialy in the mouth but a developing dry earthy hop note emerges with time, slightly tinny in the finish with a solid hop bitterness and a suggestion of ashtrays.
