Bottle. Hazy amber coloured with a small and persistent off-white foam. Distinctive hoppy aromas over a bed of fruity, juicy malt. Solid bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied. Lingering dry hoppy finish, accompanied by some fruity flavours. Good old England.......

[bottle] Hazy, amber colour with a short beige foamy layer. Malty nose with licorice, toffee and slightly citrousy and peppery woody hops. Bitter flavour, light bodied with a smooth carbonation. Dry mouthfeel, soft malty taste with licorice, notes of toasted bread and an aromatic woody hops character, lingering into the dry and bitter finish. A bit rough but also pretty tasty brew [13.XII.08].

500 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 3.7%. Amber to brown colour, moderate off-white head, nice lacing. Fine aroma of malts, toffee and biscuits. The flavour is nicely balanced between the malts and the hops, also notes of biscuits and nuts, hints of caramel. Fairly dry. Distinctly hoppy finish and a long aftertaste. A very enjoyable session bitter!

Cask at the Jerusalem Tavern. Bright amber beer, little head to speak of. Malty beer, cereals, spice, a little pepper. Dry, almost oaky finish. Very nice session beer.

This is a nice session ale with an aroma of fruity esters and resiny hops. The flavour starts with spicy hops, but turns piney and citrusy with a long, dry finish. Malt flavour is there, but it’s subtle.
