Bottle @ Corso ADB 2013. Profumo maltato, con note fruttate di agrumi. Caramello in secondo piano. Scaldandosi rivela sentori tostati. Colore ambrato carico, limpido con schiuma beige chiara, abbastanza fine. Gusto piacevolmente rotondo, abbastanza intenso e poco persistente. Dapprima dolce maltato, con note tostate poi sviluppa un amaro di media intensità. Corpo medio, quasi debole.

Bottle 0.5L. Clear amber body with a small, frothy, off-white head, mostly diminishing with virtually no lacing. Moderate hoppy (herbal) and malty (caramel) aroma with notes of nuts. Moderate-to-heavy bitter and moderate sweet flavour. Medium body with oily texture; soft carbonation.

Mini-Cask from Tesco, Gateshead. This pours a golden brown colour with a large thick white head. It has rich burnt toffee and caramel flavours, a creamy mouthfeel, maltiness and woody bitterness on the finish. Very good for a beer below 4% ABV.

Medium amber body with a decent head, ok lacing. Generic fruity aroma with caramel. Light to medium sweet taste, light to medium bitter. Flavours follow the aroma. A bit thin on the palate, but drinkable.
[33 cl bottle, shared with the Rikke 40 years tasters, from Meny Alna, Oslo]

0.5l bottle. This is a crystal clear deep amber red one with a bubbly small sidesticking head. Dry caramel on the nose with traces of wood, dark caramel and something light floral. It tastes like it expected it to as well with that dry caramel - almost wood dry, like chewing on birch. It’s really thin on the mouthfeel with a nice comfortable carbonation level. Something a bit wild in here with am almost herbal influence. Thyme perhaps? It’s not a bad bitter, but the best? 11.05.2013

50 cl bottle from Meny Liertoppen. Pours clear orange with a medium, creamy head. Malty aroma with some raisin notes. Flavour is raisins and hops. Light body, low carbonation. Ok but a bit boring as most of the St.Peters...

Bottle from Matkroken Natland, Bergen. Pours a deep clear coppery amber body with a small off-white head. Nose is burnt sugar, grains, caramel and hints of biscuits and bread. Taste is pretty similar, with caramelly grainy burnt sugar tones playing the major part. Dry, bitter finish. Full to medium body, soft to medium carbonation. Pretty decent bitter, which actually is a bit...bitter.
