Bottle. Amber body with a smallish white head. Musty earthy hops in the aroma. Flavour has moderate bitterness throughout, light caramel notes to the malt. Mildly earthy character becomes a touch sharper in the finish. Average palate is on the light side, but style appropriate. Modest quaffable bitter that I could drink a few pints of at the pub but doesn’t make me rush for another.

Bottle. Pours a clear orange-amber with a small diminishing white head. Nice simple but pleasant aroma of caramel malt, Goldings, fruit and tea. Flavour’s the same: caramel malt, a good amount of Goldings hops, a bit of fruit and a dry, average bitter finish. Average to medium bodied. Like I said earlier, it’s simple and there’s nothing ground-breaking here but it’s a pleasurable, easy to drink Bitter -- nothing wrong with that.

Not bad. The pour is extremely thin and flat, but for a mild bitter like this it’s expected. Or maybe it wasn’t stored right. Fairly dark, thin amber head with a very woody, grassy aroma. Sharply bitter and hoppy with a rich malty presence, some bread and chocolate notes. Fairly clean and tasty. Nice.

Pours a frothy beige head. Deep carotene in colour. Slight carbonation. Nose of cream and vanilla, some hops and a faint whiff of alcohol. Smooth creamy taste, nicely balanced bitterness. Some sweetness and quite malty. Very nice.

Bottle. Poured a amber colour with a thin creamy head. Malt and hops well blended, quite aromatic; caramel of course, good body structure. A good clean crisp beer.

500 mL bottle. Probably one of the lightest (alcohol) beers I’ve ever tried. The colour is mahogany, with a thick, creamy head. Sweet brown-sugar malty aroma, with a touch of Goldings hidden behind. The taste begins well, with the same sweet maltiness, but quickly thins out . There is some biscuit in there as well. Slightly bitter, quick finish. Light bodied. Carbonation is about right. Good session beer, but that’s about it.
