Sweet, cereal aroma. Not much of a head. Taste however is very pleasant - not nearly as sweet as the aroma would seem to indicate but toffee flavot comes through. Delivers with a pleasant bitterness and some grain undertones. An enjoyable bitter.

This brew’s bitters hit me a bit hard on the first sip, but St. Peter’s is a brew worth getting to know. When served well chilled the malt and hops comes though and the bitters prove to be interesting and complex, rather than overwhelming.

Cask at the Jerusalem Tavern. Bright amber beer, little head to speak of. Malty beer, cereals, spice, a little pepper. Dry, almost oaky finish. Very nice session beer.

Pours a frothy beige head. Deep carotene in colour. Slight carbonation. Nose of cream and vanilla, some hops and a faint whiff of alcohol. Smooth creamy taste, nicely balanced bitterness. Some sweetness and quite malty. Very nice.

Bottled. Dark amber with rich creamy head. Grassy aroma. Surprisingly malty for it’s gravity. Soft mouthfeel and well balanced with nice, bitter finish.

500 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 3.7%. Amber to brown colour, moderate off-white head, nice lacing. Fine aroma of malts, toffee and biscuits. The flavour is nicely balanced between the malts and the hops, also notes of biscuits and nuts, hints of caramel. Fairly dry. Distinctly hoppy finish and a long aftertaste. A very enjoyable session bitter!

A great best bitter. This was the first beer I tried from St. Peters and I'm impressed. Has good flavor but the finish was great. Nice bitter finish. Crisp and clean.

Amber color; thin creamy head. Malt and hops well blended, quite aromatic; caramel of course, good body structure. A very good Bitter, brewed to art.
